Nice pics PT Dave, Your rite the colors are the same. Wouldn't ya
like to have that center bezal area with the clock? I think that is
so sharp. But, ya got a nice looking ride there. Keep cruising!!!

Dear Dave Im angree too, this is only to be competitive with the new HRR, no the DCS2 lost our special issue !

WHAT THE F*** I thought the new tangerine would be lighter, like the orange blast from SRT4
That is not fair indeed, why to pull out the same color of a special edition? that ruins a lot our "special status" as Dream edition!, besides I don`t like the design of the new crusier, I believe they killed all the retro look, why all the car manufacturers when they want to redesign cars, they usually make thyem more square, with edges and so? I love the curves and smooth of PT, and they just ruined with the interior and the bumpers, a real shame that the are making these

that's pretty weak that they copied the '03 color. it's bad enough all the other companies came out and copied the color on their models - scion xB, mazda6, corvette, Dodge Ram, etc, etc., but now for Chrysler to pull that on their own....
anyway, i still like the ORIGINAL '03 tangerine better, especially the interior. I'm just glad I did something to the outside of mine to make it different anyway...

Before we all get bunched up about our Tangerines. Hope we all realize it is not the first time Chrysler used this color. It was first used on the '99 Prowler. So the people that bought those should be mad at us for getting tangerine?
I don't like it either but I can at least chuckle when I see an '07 with the wrong wheels and wrong grill, pretending to be something it isn't.
FWIW.. A coworker of mine was just as mad at Chevy, in '98 he paid extra for unique wheels and color on his Impala SS, guess what happened in '02.. Yep what he paid extra for Chevy offered as standard production. He is over it now but he was just as po'ed.

Thanks so much Dave and Ivanov! I really like what both of you guys have done to your Tangerine Dreams. I really didn't "do" so much, I just had the idea and my husband made it for me. I hope I can do some more things like you all have done, especially you with your engine Dave and interior, Ivanov.
thank you very much Dave to post the photos. I am not so good to be able to do this and anyway maybe I already put too many photos of my car on the internet so it is time for the other nice cars like yours and Ivanov and the other ones out there.....
It's just so nice to see free expressions and individual ideas for the same car, so many different styles, it's so much better than in Russia. Back there all cars were the same, boring colors, no extras, no power, plus you had to be very rich or high politician even to own a car. I never was allowed to own or even drive car before when I lived in Russia, so I'm so happy to be expressive with my car now that I am American citizen! Now it is getting better in Russia with cars, they even have PT Cruisers there, but there is not so many custom cars like we can find here in America and close by like Mexico with so much color and style.
That's why I was disappointed when Chrysler copied the old color for '07 instead of making new colors, it more interesting to be different, no?

Seamist is the only color not brought back? Where have you seen Inca gold other than DCS1? I'm assuming you mean on other model PT's or are you talking across all brands. What about Shale green? That wasn't offered for a full year in in 2001. Wasn't Aquamarine only offered with the 2001's?
I can see someone from DC hovering around this site and bringing back one of these colors just to spite us! :)
