03 turbo faulty camshaft position sensor

On a 2003 turbo the OBDII code comes up for faulty camshaft position sensor , the engine will not accelerate at all and the engine light comes on . Where is the camshaft position sensor bank 1 A ? and how do you place it. Regards, Mike K. ---------- thanks in advance Mike Kertesz

The camshaft positioning sensor is located on the end of the cylinder head (right end when facing engine) Caution, when replacing the sensor, do NOT over tighten or you will crack the sensor and have to replace it again. ----------

that little guy is buried on the PT"s. end of teh head by the air cleaner.
