'06 17" GT Rims for Trade

We just bought a brand new leftover '06 GT with the 17" 15 spoke wheels.
We don't care for the wheels, we would like to trade someone for a real nice set of chrome 17" 5 spoke wheels from an earlier GT anyone interested??

Whatever it costs me for a like new set of the older 17" GT 5 spoke CHROME rims and shipping--I haven't checked either yet--naturally I'd like to have my original rims sold and be able to buy the new ones pretty much at the same time.
BTW:Does everyone know that these '06 GT rims are what Chrysler calls CHROME CLAD?? --they are not solid chromed steel like the older ones are.

While I do not think they are "clad" they are chrome over aluminum. There have never been chromed steel rims for the PT, always aluminum in either painted, chrome or clad. The clad rims had plastic caps that were chrome plated and glued onto aluminum rims and many people did not like that. Most stock chrome rims on the PT suffered from peeling, especially on the back side of the rims. Be cautious of any used rims as they might have that problem. That is the reason I took off my chrome GT rims. I now have '05 painted vert rims on my PT.

TurboJohn, Thanks for the heads up, I'm new to Cruisers!
I think the stock '06 17" GT rims ARE clad as in the glued on plastic chrome over something-rather its steel or aluminum, we just don't like the style.

I have a few '06s coming to our show next weekend in Millville to see the Blue Angels, I'll take a closer look at their wheels. I do know those 15 spokes are a bear to keep clean. Good luck on your search!

The 15 spoke wheels are chrome clad or as I call them plastic chrome covers over the aluminum wheel

Sent1, Thanks for the reply & link!! Those wheels look kind of goldish colored--unless its just a reflection?? I'm thinking that for that kind of money (with the shipping) that I could buy a nice set of aftermarket look-a-likes from my local custom wheel shop for less $$ but again, I do prefer the factory look.
