2001 Wheels on a 2007

Will be picking up my new "project" from the dealer tomorrow... couln't wait to make the first change, so I picked up a set of lightly used 16'' rims from a 2001 on Eb*y. Aside from the fact that my new cruiser will have 15'' wheels and tires when I drive it home, anyone see a problem with me pickin up new tires and completing my quick facelift? In other words, did I jump the gun too quickly... bolt pattern should be the same and I won't have to do any suspension tricks, right? ----------

should be a direct bolt on. the factory tire size for the 16" rims is a 205/55, so to keep the speedo reading correctly you need a tire that size or of the same overall diameter ---------- Joel

If you want to go a little wider on the tire you can run a 225/50 instead of the 205/55. I run the 225/50 it is 3/4 of an inch wider with the same aspect ratio. ---------- MIDNIGHT CRUISER 2005 Midnight Blue Touring Edition,16 in Dealer Option 5 Spoke Silver Alloys/wYokohama Avid V4s 225/50/16 High Performance Tires. 16 in.
