Wouldn't you think by now we would know what changes would be made on the 2007 Cruisers? ----------

Noticed that one of the new colors is Tangerine, same color as the 2003 Dream Cruiser. I thought once they used a color on a dream cruiser it was never used again. I guess that's not the case. Sorta rubs me the wrong way since we have one. ----------

lkallen, Nice to see I am not the only one upset about seeing Tangerine Pearl offered on the new PT's. I do remember the come-on about one time only colors with the Dream Cruisers, and I believe we paid a premium for the "privilege". I feel DC owes us something. If they are available with the two-tone interior, I want a refund. I'd also like to see if there is an additional fee for the paint scheme. The Pearl Coat is a three step process. They used to charge more for the Inferno Red paint, I think it was a $300 or $400 upcharge. I have no problem with the paint offered on other DC models. Chrysler has always been cutting edge with colors and should be applauded for the effort. Just don't tell me I'm getting something "exclusive" then sell me out. They could have, at the very least, used a slightly different shade. I somehow have fantasies of the car being worth beaucoup dinero in 30 - 40 years. Keep it stock, keep it clean & don't crack it up. ----------

I too thought my Dream Cruizer would be a collector item, didn't know the "Dream" would turn out to be a nightmare. I've thought of sending nasty letters, class action suit, etc. But havent' been able to locate any written statement that they would never use the color again. Do you know of any? ----------

The only thing would be to look at some old advertising slicks. Just have to resign myself to the fact we've been screwed. We don't stand a chance against Chrysler, just ask anyone about warranty work. Remember, this is America! (cars made in Mexico) I started a similar rant in the general forum, under a "newbie" post. ----------

The new colors went up on Chrysler.com today. It looks like the Tangerine is a different color than the Dream Cruiser. I am probably going to get one in the GT (my '04 Electric Blue GT was hit pretty bad and just isn't the same anymore ). Also noticed that the only option for interior on the GT is the Beige -- I would have thought it would have looked much better in the Slate Gray. At minimum you have the cool Dream Cruiser inserts on the wheels and the better interior color. If the pictures are any indication -- your vehicle may still be a different paint color than the new ones.

You can't say it's going to be a different shade tangerine from what you see on a web site! You can have two different monitors next to each other and the shades will be different. My money is that it is the exact same color as the '03 DCS2. Take a look at all the Dodge's that are now the same tangerine even though they call it "go man go" (truck and Charger). Take a look at the paint code on the door sticker then look up the paint formula, they are identical. I looked at a Dodge Caliber this weekend, "Sunburst orange" Paint code is "PVE", any guess what the paint code for a DCS2 is? No reason DC is going to change paint codes for one model. Take a look across all the DC lines, including Dodge and Jeep. All the colors are the same (don't judge by computer pics, look at the real paint codes.) Only difference is Jeep offers some greens no others have. DC is homoginizing (sp) all models to be silimar, my guess is a cost thing, but it really looks like they are trying to work like GM. Seen one Buick, you've seen them all. ----------
