2008 Convertible is officially out of production

It's official - the PT Cruiser Convertible is now out of production. Last one built on December 21, 2007. See:

I suspect only 1-2,000 were built for this final model year - no dealer in my area (Northeast Ohio) has any.
Glad I got my 2007 Marine Blue Spring Special in April - I love it.
For those who have one - cherish it. For those looking to get it, get one before they're all gone!

Whewwwww! Just made it. Picked up my 5-speed (ordered early November) on 12Jan08.
I would bet mine was one of the final 5-speeds built. Any way to find out the build date?
(just joined the club-this is my first post.)

The exact day, date & hour is printed on the sticker on the edge of the drivers door.

Thanks, Dream 4 - I found 11 27 14 - I'm going to guess that means it was built Nov. 27 at 2pm (1400hr).
It took almost a month to make it to Newark NJ, then a bit over 1 more week to reach the dealer at Bristol, CT.

and...the 05 drop top is the only version with the classic body style.
