2nd gear stutter

Hello all.... I wonder if you can help me out. We have a 2002 PT and she is stuttering in 2nd gear. We don't notice it in any other gears. I have feed the old girl some Techron, but that didn't help anything.... Any idea? The fuel filter maybe? Or do you think I should take it in for service?

Have you had the transmission fluid and filter changed? That should be it, but to be safe I think a quick trip to the mechanic would probably be better. If they cannot find anything, take them with you and show them.

Tell me you really did not put Techron in your PT tranny!

I think he's talking about Techron mixed with gas...

Yeah, i put the put Techron in the tranny, right.... I wouldn't even know how to do that. I'm not a mechanic but I'm not that stupid. I do change my own oil. (What kinda dork I am for saying that). ANYWAY... I was hoping it was the fuel injectors. Based on this advice, I think I'll take to a tranny shop for a flush and a once over.
