Sounds like a deal!
There's a less modified DCS3 selling up this was at a Chrysler dealer for about $14K (US equivalent).
Virtually the same mileage.
I'd say the eBay buyer done good.

Anyone looking for a DCS3 within a reasonable distance of Collingwood Ontario (Canada), should check out www.autotrader.ca
There's one listed for an asking price of $12,888 CDN. Just under 80,000 kms (about 50K miles).
Looks pretty nice from the pics...

The DC3 in New York state just has to be the one owned by this Club's own Rich W. 4,000 miles, 5-speed, balance of the factory 7/70 warranty. Kept in a garage. Original floormats still sealed in plastic. Rich is a car fanatic who the last time I heard wants to buy a Mustang to replace the PT.

What a deal - there's not another one out there in this shape and miles. I've been trying to figure out how to buy this car to replace my '01 Limited, but I'm just not ready to spend all of my daughter's inheritance (yet). I've been in contact with Rich, and in my opinion, this is the best of the Dream Cruiser series, and this car is a good as NEW.

Look up the history of the DC3. Made in Mexico as all blue. Sent to Manheim in the US for the silver two-tone paint , special blue solar glass made for this car by Pittsburgh Plate glass, 5-speed manual transmission made by Getrag of Germany, two-tone leather seats, High Output Turbo, all the toys and extras. I'll guess that this car had a list price close to $30,000. I haven't seen the cars.com ad, but I'll bet that the price will make it look like a bargain. Sure a lot more car than than the PT of today.

No, I am not related to, or under a commission plan from Rich W. I just think this is one hell of a car that needs to be picked up by a true Cruiser Enthusiast that will appreciate it's uniqueness and value.

Larry

Hey, Crystal
Whats with the Rescue ? I guess you saw the dream 3 in Illinois Car Max ? We bought our Dream 2 there in April. The Dream 3 had just arrived. Looked at the Dream 3. Very Nice, Low mileage. But we where sold on Tangerine...........
So do you have a favorite type of coasters ? I Prefer Woodies. But like most others. Kings Island in Cincinnati has " The Beast " & " Son of Beast " & Italian Job ( Mini Cooper ) Coasters...........
Hope you had a nice weekend,
Walt

Re: [DreamSicle] 3dcs#505 Can't Post

I had a wonderful weekend!! I took off to Oklahoma & watched my grandsons first football game (7yr-9yrs) & they won!! I couldn't believe it!! The rodeo playday was cancelled due to the rain, so my dtr & I took off to Cushing & ate at the Tuscany Resturante..It was delisio!! Then to Stillwater for an excellent Lattee!! But I had to come back to work today, so the trip was short!!! When I seen all those PT's on Cardomain I was feeling as though I needed to open up a Shelter & find people that would like to take them to a Rally! HA!! As far as Coasters, I have only been on the 6 Flags & world of Fun Coasters, I love 'em!! The ones you mentioned seemed to be alot bigger & sounds Fun as well! Wouldn't that be fun to have PT Rally by a Big Coaster!? Welp I better get back to work.Wave

Sounded Great Crystal !!!!! I hope you took off to get there with the help of your PT ,not a airline.........
Someone on the club was saying that , they thought the reason for the rise in 2003 & 04 dreams for sales was that they must have been on 4 year leases. Makes sence........
My Wife Shelley & I where on the tollway coming back from diner , last night. I was doing 65 & punched it ( the PT's Gas ) to pass a truck. It hit 90 so FAST, it scared me !!!!!! The Truck was nothing but a small dot in the rear view mirror!!! I thought My Turbo Lebaron was FAST !!!! but The PT is much quicker !!!!!
Hey Crystal..... how long have you had your Dream 3 ? how many wonderful miles on it ?
Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Walt

I Love the Turbo too! Every once in a while I have to put the Metal to the petal Outtahere& get her up to 120mph. :) (which I did this previous weekend, on my way to OKla) I bought my Dream3 brand new July 2004, it took me about 5 months to make the deciison because I have always had a "Big" car, which at that time I had a beautiful Dodge Intrepid EOS w/ an autotranny. I had no idea about the PT Cruiser Clubs, & went to my first rally in Sept 2004 in Winfield,Ks to the Midwest Regional Rallies, which I emphatically "Thank" Old School for taking over that club 2yrs ago, when I though it was going to die & therefore I am a member of that group. Which I am getting ready to go to in about 2 weeks in Bartelsville,Ks!!! Can't wait!!!! My car currently has 37,468 miles on it & is currently in the auto body shop for a bumper repair, someone did have to back into me right before the Rally. but no one was hurt, welp gotta go eat supper w/ tha hubby... C-ya!! By the way are you guy's coming to the Rally in Okla Sept 7 & 8th? Ta Ta 4 Now!

You will have a good time. i would like to have a Dream cruiser Photo shoot, I need a Dream # 1 and a Dream 4 to do the shot.

Crystal I hope that I can talk you into using your dream for the shoot . I think that it would be a good pic to do if we have all 4 dreams at the show.
