That is right AU, as unsanitary as it may sound to y'all down in Bama.....we do now have restrooms indoors. They have a bucket thing what sits over a hole in the floor, a big tank looking thing on a pipe way up on the wall, and a pull chain thingy that empties the water and all.
I have no idea as to how often you hafta move the building when the underneath side of the floor gets filled up though.
Ya best come on up an see em fer yerself though....don't jes take my word fer it.

The last word I heard was 11 states and 100-150 vehicles registered so far. Based on motel reservations to date, we should have a good turnout. Lots of registrations have not been sent in yet when compared to motel reservations made.

Well, yes Doug, I shuda sed red ta me.
The club tresrer done went ta the niagra eevent and ain't bak yet. Thets niagra speld witha N, not ta be confoosd with thet stuf ya tak in bama. Thet womn and my puter both got heaps mor memre then I duz enymor.

Hey Oldschool...do you know who has info regarding the registrations that me and my pal George from up here in Canada sent in? We have had no confirmation that they were recieved yet?
Also how are you folks making out down thewre with all the flooding? Is the show still a go??

Both your registrations have been received.
Portions of the state have had some flooding, but in no way will affect the event in September.

Good to hear on both counts.
Regarding the registrations do you send anything out back to us that we should be looking for? We only have "Pony Express" out here in the sticks!
Our thoughts are with you guys. Hope all gets back to normal for you guys ASAP.

More than likely, I will be on two wheels. Bike riding is still my stress reliever. I want to get the Moto Guzzi out for a ride to AR so I will be passing through. The leg is better. Maybe one more surgery to relieve some pressure and possible infection I've been fighting.

I started updating the event site this past weekend, and ran into software problems. I am working to get it up and running, but I am having to rebuild a good portion of the web site.

I made a little more headway with the rebuild last night, and will try and have it going by the weekend,
The short version is:
Friday = mini cruises, games and activities, drawings, etc.
Saturday = car show, light show, several special guests, several special activities, special contests, raffles, games, activities, drawings, poker walk, scavenger hunt, etc.
Sunday AM = awards breakfast ceremony
Basically, there will be plenty to see and do. Currently, there are 100+ vehicles that I know of.
As usually expected, the registrations begin to pick up over the next four weeks.
Any registrations received after August 9 will miss out on shirts and other cool goody bag items. I will have better information when I get the site updated, so please bear with me.

You said it Mickey. My buddy George & i were planning our route yesterday. Big stop in Deadwood..Devils Tower..Custer's Last stand & Mt. Rushmore...going to do the "Needles" mountain hairpin drive also!
We'll still have plenty of energy left for partyin at the Show!
