Why shoot, girl....you haven't offended anyone, and you can't insult me for anything I don't claim to have Come on down, and then you can decide if you want to join our somewhat dysfunctional group of real cruiser people. Currently, we have around seventy members on the roll call. I should have the event site updated by the weekend. I went through five crashes on the site (ain't my fault) but I have it corrected now....crossing my fingers. ---------- Old cruisers never die, they just go down a different highway. _________________________

THANKS OLD SCHOOL, I can relax now and have a good day. You too, as well. Computers are the pitts, so I sympathize. I have a brand new one and it comes with that McFee security system. Every AM, I will start an Email and the darn thing comes on and says it is updating and computer must be shot down, what they hay? Get's darn old. Thx for trying so hard for all of us. Mickey See what I mean about me in the Am, different as night and day- I only come out at night, something like that. HI LYNXX34, I see you are a new Cruiser. Welcome and also, I read your profile and you have a Dream Cruiser. I will be parked between two of them and I am thrilled about that. I have never seen one. I hope you do make it to the show as I would like to see your car. I think we will have fun as these people are all crazy, as am I. I know you can not wait, just like the rest of us. Only a month to go. YES! See you then, Mickey ---------- 2005 ELECTRIC BLUE CLASSIC Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. That is great Lynxx34. You are not going to believe it. I saw my first Dream Cruiser today. It came into the lot where I work and I just knew it was one. It was gold like SENT1's and I went running out and attacked these two guys and asked a million questions, blessed them for coming by my work. They didn't even know it was one, as was using it for work. I was sure and looked at the back and omg, it has a emblem on it that says Dream Cruiser. I was so in love with it. The guys sort of acted uncomfortable, like I was going to steal it. The one guy wanted to leave and I told him please do me a big favor and wave and honk at me when you leave and please, may I touch it and he says sure. He did honk and wave. I was in heaven. I do get a little excited over PT Cruisers. I honk and wave my arm off and no reaction. That is why this Regional is so important to me. To be with others that love their cars as much as I do. See you there!!!! Mickey ---------- 2005 ELECTRIC BLUE CLASSIC Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections

HI OLD SCHOOL, Thanks for the update. I knew what the rally is supporting: What you do not know is that this is what I do. I work out of the Hastings, Ne office. Ours is called SASA ( sexual abuse, sexual assault) Crisis Center. I am very proud of the work that we do. I am not a complete ditz as I appear to be. Having a PT Cruiser is my escape from what I see everyday come into our office and shelter. I hope everyone will support this great cause, as this says, we get our money to help countless people who suffer from abuse, from mainly donations. In our office, government funding was cut this year. We are there to try to educate people about our center. This is a great opportunity to learn about our situation and the situation that many find themselves in concerning domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Mickey A chance to help out again: This year, the MWUSAR has chosen to lend a helping hand to another local Domestic Abuse Center. Last year's response was received so well by all our registrants and club members, and thanks to each participant we were able to donate three pickup loads of greatly needed items. This year, the recipient is a domestic abuse center serving Washington County. This center receives no State or Federal support, but relies on donations from individuals. The need for our support is evident, and you can help someone who has very limited options. ---------- 2005 ELECTRIC BLUE CLASSIC Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. Please note the following change to the Mid-West USA Regional event. The Sunday morning awards ceremony and breakfast format has been changed. The previously scheduled location for our awards ceremony and breakfast is no longer available for any functions on Sunday mornings. We have been unsuccessful in securing any other suitable locations in Bartlesville to accommodate our group on a Sunday morning. Our awards ceremony is being rescheduled for Saturday night, and will include a catered barbeque dinner. The breakfast coupons included with registrations will cover the cost of the dinner. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this unexpected situation was beyond our control. If this change in time and menu creates a problem for any of our event registrants, the Wayfaring Cruisers Club will gladly refund the price of any breakfast coupons. On the bright side…..you can either sleep in, or get an earlier start Sunday morning. ---------- Old cruisers never die, they just go down a different highway. _________________________

Our awards ceremony and breakfast on Sunday morning usually ended the event, with the majority of people leaving for their homes at that time. That allowed for all registrants to not have to have a motel room for Sundays. Since you have been interested in becoming a member of the Wayfaring Cruisers.....maybe you can help clean up all the mess and strike the set on Sunday with the rest of our club ---------- Old cruisers never die, they just go down a different highway. _________________________

Hello, I am looking forward to attending the Midwest Regional; Sept 7-9. I had a question though, when is the last day to register I still need a few details to take care of before sending my registration, but the rescheduling of the awards cereony really helped my schedule out. ----------

Quote: Hello, I had a question though, when is the last day to register Early registrations assist us in planning activities, ordering shirts and dash plaques, goody bags, having enough food at the dinner, etceteras. Early registrations also help in paying a portion of the expense of the event. As an example, on a good event year we hope to break even on expenses. The time for early registrations has ended, but there will be people registering up until the day of the event.

MORNING OLD SCHOOL, THANK YOU for answering everyone's questions. The advise you give helps a lot and I will do what you say and wait and see what happens. I am thrilled there will be a light show, I remember seeing cars with lights coming out of the undercarriage a long time ago, in believe it or not, our town. I was fascinated. HEY CRYSTAL, THX FOR SAYING I AM A HOOT, LOVE IT. I think I am more of a pest to most but glad you think I am a hoot. OK, we are talking the 18th, what time and where? I am real spontaneous. I am going to join that club as I love Old School and PT Dave. I am so sick of trying to find these snotty stuck up unmodded out corn pickers in this state that I have to relocate to get with my kind. Heck, I might just move to Oklahoma the day after the meet and greet. I am a fast packer. Let me know as I do not have anything going on. Wonder how far it is for me? Will check and you check and meet back here. I believe I know a buddy of you OKIES, ( is that disrespectful to call you that?) Lanette im4cruisn. I just met her yesterday. I had ordered from Purple Jalopy Judy, and we talked forever about me not being able to find anyone to start a club, she put me in contact with Lanette who had the same problem in New Mexico. She mentioned you and Dave and the rest of the Oklahoma people, said you are a great bunch. something I already knew. So anxious to meet everyone, maybe I won't have to wait three weeks, will be less than 1 Oklahoma Rulessssssssssssssssss. I think the car show & Shine @ The Street Burger is starting at 10am, so know I think that I had better leave Friday night or leave Sat am @ 6AM. I am not for sure, as I said I am going to call Teresa tonight & see what she is up to this weekend (she lives in Owasso) It sounds like fun!
