Has anyone used one of these and if so how well do they work?

It works as advertise. Keeps wind down and gives you a little more privacy with the top down,

Re: [njsteve] Accessory Wind Screen Can't Post

I like the way it looks, and have been thinking about one for my DC4, I just have 1 question, where the straps go over the rollbar, has the paint been damaged or scuffed from the strain and movment from the wind at high speeds? Or are the straps padded in that area?

No padding and no scuffing. you pull the straps tight and they don't seem to move.

Do you have to have the boot cover in order to have the wind screen?

No you don't need the boot. It clips on in a different place.
