Has anyone added an aftermarket fuel filter to their PT?? I am simply appaulled (sp) that Chrysler doesn't have one on them!! Do ANY other Chrysler/Dodge vehicles NOT have a factory installed fuel filter?? What is the reasoning NOT to use a fuel filter?? something the other auto makers aren't aware of?? Thanks! ----------

Fuel filters are on the SUCTION side of the pump now days. Close tolerances in the pump would get DESTROYED if a piece of grit were to find it's way in. They are servicable, but you have to drop the tank to get to it. Do-able for the intrepid home mechanic, just a PITA! wd4o ----------
