Adding heated seats - can it be done?

Hello, Looking at purchase of an 03 GT model - but it does not have heated seats. Can this option be added without having to purchase an entire seat. It is my understanding that this was a $250 option when new. Thanks Art ----------

The only ones I have seen are from PT Warehouse, there is not a add on kit from Chrysler. http://www.ptwarehouse.com/...interior/seating.htm ---------- '05 GT Dream Cruiser Series 4. No.1109 My Mods PT Trailer Project Our PTs

Thank you Dream 4, I will look into that option. Do you know anyone who has purchased products from PTWarehouse or anyone who has actually purchased and installed the kit? Art ----------

Yes, PT Warehouse is a good place to buy from with great customer service, along with myself I am sure quite a few members of this forum have purchased their items, (they support a lot of the eastcoast car shows), and also yes after my wife tried the factory heated seats in my '05 PT DC4 Convertible, she wanted them in her '05 PT TE, so I installed this kit myself, it is also the only way to get heated seats in a PT with cloth interior as tDC has not offered this yet) and they are recommended for cloth seats, it took me 2 days, just a few hours a day, I am a retired Master Ford Technician, but I am also somewhat disabled so I cannot work for long periods of time, if you have any experience with seat covers and wiring then you should be able to do it yourself, if not then I would guess that a shop would charge you about 4 to 6 hours labor. ---------- '05 GT Dream Cruiser Series 4. Hello Dream4, I was looking at your web link and noticed the yellow cam cover addition you installed and the chrome looking 2.4L turbo cover. Where did you get those items? and would they fit a 2004 GT. Thanks, Art ----------
