Auto show on the news

Tonight's news had a segment on some auto show going on. I think they said it was in Detroit. Anyway, they led in with the DCX Jeep Liberty, which has a forward rake reminiscent of the PT. And they had a nice brief highlight of the PT for everyone eager to get one (the auto-show version had something odd about its hood, looked flatter -- anyone else see it and know what they were doing??).Next they moved on to F*rd and some new concept car which was drawn from four or five cars out of the 1950's. Looked ok, nothing great. Finally, they tailed off (the ***-end) with GM's new concept cars -- a truly ugly pair of SUV's, a Caddy convertible that looked like something out of that old 1970's childrens' TV show "Ark II", and some hideous Aztek-like beast of burden. Man, if my camel were that ugly, I'd shave its humps and teach it to walk sideways. (Hey, maybe this is why I've been feeling like throwing up all evening?) In the most objective opinion I can manage, it very much looks like Chrysler stole the show again.

If that new T-Bird was priced like the Cruiser Ford would need to build new factories to meet the demand.
