Chrome Valve Stem Covers....

......SUCK!! LOL!! I bought some of them for PeTey this past summer. Looked pretty good all summer cruisin around. THEN the winter set in and the snow and the ice and the slush.....well those cool little chrome caps turned into a PERMANENT cap on my valve stems....yeah they rusted right in place! I had to take PeTey in today and get a new set of valve stems put in.....I went back to the black plastic caps too!!! LOL!! So buyer beware....Chrome Covers....cool for summer....BAD for wet weather! Just my 2 cents of warning......Thanks for listening to my rant!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I bought some chrome valve stem covers, extenders, and sleeves at wal mart about three years ago and I have not had any problems so far. Maybe the road salt is stronger in your area. ----------

I used to change tires at wal-mart, and we had the problem all the time with the "chrome" covers. ---------- 2003 PT GT

Walmart, your source for cheap cr*p... Personally, I wouldn't put anything on my PT from Walmart. That's just me... ---------- 2005 Bright Silver Convertible, 5 speed with 8 ball knob, chrome door spears, chrome gas cap door, chrome antenna bezel, chrome grill kit, chrome rear bumper pillows, chrome bumper trim, stainless antenna with flames, stainless door panel trim, chrome smoothies with baby moons, 2" wide "gangster" white walls, chrome tail light trim, K&N air filter element in a modified airbox and an oogah horn. Hmmm, what have I forgotten???
