The North Coast PT Cruisers invite you to attend our FREE Season Finale on Sunday, October 28th, 2001 from noon to 5 pm. This event is an open to ALL CARS, Benefit Cruise-In on behalf of the American Red Cross and “Coats for Kids”. Please bring a new or pre-owned coat or coats. Donations for the Red Cross can be made if you so desire. We will also hold a 50/50 raffle to raise additional funds.The Fabulous (HiYo) Silver, Man!! will be our Super DJ. He will be spinning OLDIES. He promises to play one Country Western Song. If it’s not raining too badly, we will once again have RC racing between the pylons. This will probably be your last chance to race your new toys this year.
BRING SOME MUNCHIES TO SHARE. We will have tables set up for this purpose. The eating will commence as soon as the first table is set up. It will cease when all the food is gone, or in the event of a monsoon.
The Cruise-In will be held in the rear parking lot, behind TGI Friday, at 1641 Golden Gate Plaza, in Mayfield Heights, Ohio (44124) at the very rear of the shopping center.
To get there from I-271 (north or south) get off at the RT 322 West (Mayfield Road). Turn left at the SECOND traffic light and enter the Golden Gate Plaza Shopping Center. Proceed to the very rear of the plaza, past the Goodyear Tire store. As you approach TGI Friday, stay in the lanes to the right of the building and proceed all the way to the back. Bring a lawn chair and some PT toys to decorate your rear shelf.
If you are familiar with the area, you can also enter from Marsol Drive, which runs parallel to Mayfield Road.
The event will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather, but someone will still be there to collect the coats, from noon to 1 pm. An article about this event will appear in the Sunday Cleveland Plain Dealer.
