DVD question Can't Post

Forgive me if this is a really daft question...

I have just taken delivery of a hire car that has an RB3 Sat Nav/DVD player unit installed but I cannot seem to get a picture on the lcd tv.

I can get the dvd to play and sound comes out of the speakers but no picture on the display. I am wondering of there is a remote control or something of that nature that I need to turn on the lcd, which I would assume has not been provided.

It seems a shame to have such a good car that has all these features but I cannot use this one...

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this.

cheers

Sutner

Re: [sutner] DVD question Can't Post

What year and model car? And maybe the RB3 is a new model of the nav system that is installed in the dash with the radio?? The older Chrysler nav systems will play music CDs but not movies if that is what you are talking about and the nav CD has to be in the drive for the nav system to work. Think it is not legal to have a movie running that the driver can see while driving. I have a RB1 in my 2004 GT and it works very well as a nav system but I put a 10 disk changer under the drivers seat to play CD music. Just wonder what you have. Don't you have a owners manual?

Re: [ewhite] DVD question Can't Post

I have a 2008 Grand Voyager. There is a 6 disc changer built into the botom of the dash near the handbrake, the screen is mounted behind the front seats so the driver cannot see it.

the manual just has instructions for playing a DVD, but nothing for getting the screen on.
