Dave: Thanks for your compliments, you're so sweet! I really like what you've done with your Tangerine Dream Cruiser. (You guys always call it a DC2, it sounds like something from Star Wars! I like Tangerine Dream better!) IvAnOv: You can see some photos of my PT here: http://ptcruiserworld.tenmagazines.com/mygallery.ten?id=3531 Sorry, I'm not so good on the computer to post the photos directly. It's great to hear about some things you have done to yours, I am interested to know more about making my PT faster, so I will like to hear more about your plans and how different perfomance mods work for you. Thanks, guys! Natasha ----------

IvAnOv: Yes, that was me, I crashed and I couldn't send my Tangerine Dream to the junkyard, since she saved my life, so I had to save hers. That seems like so long time ago.... Well, you ask me about the performance mods, I'm not so good to explain that stuff. I just asked my husband to make it faster and easier to pass on the freeway, so he did the rest and then told me about it. But, the main things I have a list, so here it is: Mopar Stage 1 AGP Wastegate Actuator Hallman MBC NGK Iridium IX plugs Live Wires spark plug wires Mopar BOV ( I think this just makes noise!) VAK Intake and Intercooler Pipes Weapon R Dragon Air Filter BTG Turbo-Back system with Dual Exhaust Hyperground wires PowerPaq engine management computer (not hooked up yet) Now, all of these things were installed one by one, and I could tell each thing did improve the performance. I think the one that did the most was the AGP thing. At least that's what it felt like to me. It was like a new engine after that! But after that was installed, I got check engine lights, so once the Stage 1 got installed, it was OK. The exhaust and intakes both improved about the same, good, but not so much as the AGP. The intake helped on low speeds to go from stop, and the exhaust helped in passing speeds on the freeway. I really like all the sounds, too, the BTG exhaust is nice but not too loud, and the intake makes a cool sounds all the time. The wires and plugs make the engine run very smooth, better than before. Now she is very fast! You cannot get the gauge pod in dark color, I had to have it painted to match. It is some kind of special paint for vinyl. The shop that repaired my Tangerine Dream from the crash did the painting. I didn't like the light color. Well, you have to compliment my husband on the clean tires and wheels. I always scratch the wheels, he is always complaining, because he is the one that cleans it! We decided to get the calipers powdercoated since they always got so dirty. Same thing with the intake manifold and valve cover. The powdercoating makes it much easier to keep those parts clean. Sorry, I really don't know about the vanity cover and the plastic manifold, but it looks like the vanity cover is made only for the non-turbos. I will ask my husband. I like the lighted pedal covers from StreetGlow.com, they have some with chrome trim. They are cheap, too, like about $20, even less if you try to get them on eBay. I have purple ones, but maybe you would get orange to match the outside color. I would just buy 2 sets though, because it seems like the lighting doesn't always work too well. You can install them yourself, except I don't know how to connect the wires for the lights, but I think they are pretty easy for somebody who knows about electrical stuff. Did you really get Stage 2? I thought it was not made for our PTs? That's why I got the AGP, and the PowerPaq, to get the same result as Stage 2. Also, please tell me about your NOS system, and how you have 350hp without damage to transmission. I would like to have the NOS system, just for fun, but I'm afraid to break the transmission! (My husband doesn't agree yet!!!) Thanks, IvAnOv! ----------

Well Natasha I´m from Mexico I´m 27 years old, this is my second PT and you´re like a kind of leyend for me... I keep the magazine with a lot of proud and I recognize your car inmediatly... It´s an honor for me belive me ! Talking about your performance mods... you´re in a very good level, I have the same Wastegate Actuator than you, and I´m agree, with this you can hold a higher psi of your turbo, but first you need a boost controller. It´s a shame that all the pods didn´t match with the original color from the stock pod, we have to complain with the vendors about that... don´t you think guys? Maybe in November I´m going to travell to Miami (I´m work In Prudential Financial) and I would have time to check some pedals... I´ll go to "Turbo Dinamics" It´s a boutique from Jose Pineiro a Cuban guy. When I said Stage 2 I´m talking about my dual boost controller, in the first I´m in 16 psi pikes with holds of 16 psi, and in the second one I´m in 21 psi pikes with holds of 16 psi (thanks to the wastegate actuator) To install the NOS System you have to change a lot of things... supports of the motor, bomb of gasoline (walbro) this mod is in process, is not finish yet... my mechanic is an ex profesional Pilot of F2 (Mexican Proud) Jorge Jímenez Perdomo he´s working on that and I promess to take a lot of pics to share with you guys. My DCS2 has one week in his garage... I miss her a lot ! I´m understand to your husband... my wife do the same with me... LOL Please I´ll be waiting for your reply of the manifold ! This was my first Pt a Classic Edition....
And my best friend and Mechanic... Jorge Jimenez Perdomo

The vanity cover is ONLY for the 05+ plastic manifold. Natasha, Ron saw a number of us with the plastic manifold swapped onto our cars in San Diego. This is a mod that we learned about over at PTCrew.com ----------
