The following was posted at PTE today : "As of today Chrysler will no longer make the RT 66 PT Cruiser. So if you reallly want one you better go to your local Chrysler dealer ,Give thm a down payment and hope that no one beats you to it." Is this true? Google search found nothing about DC stopping production of the new Chrysler PT Street Cruiser Route 66 Edition.

I tried ordering one and they said Chrysler was no longer taking orders, bought one of only 3 5 speeds within a hundred miles. ----------
