I found a post from a Canadian...........you can get them in taupe and graphite. They have carry handles, too. This was the only place I saw these....been looking for weeks. Anyone else know of anyplace in USA? Lis

Sounds like their price is pretty decent, I wouldn't think shipping from Canada would be too much either.

Shipping from them is $20, so $70 total. They asked me to send a money order but I've written to them to see if they'll take paypal if I pay their paypal fees, too. I can't believe we can't find boot carriers in the USA, though, eh? LOL! Lis

You'd think someone would make them. Maybe someone who makes bags for boat sails?

I'm not concerned with covering the boot but where to keep it. The boot takes up too much room.Maybe the boot should be made thinner and out of cloth.

The boot would be torn to shreds at freeway speeds due to the the tops rather pokey metal framing. Mine is in the garage unless the top's down, then it's on.

I'm assuming all new VERTS came with the boot. I saw an original sticker from an 05 vert like mine and figured the cars came with them.

It didn't get transferred to me, but I'm looking for one...just don't want to pay 300 bucks for one.

I'm still looking, but it's not urgent. And yes there should be some type of bag for it.....but that will come too....

Peace..

Actually, they don't, mine didn't come with one when I bought it. I don't think I'd use it anyways, seems like it would be too much trouble having to get out of the car and put it on after dropping the top.

I agree. So it looks great on while your driving.then if your at the beach for hours of course it has to come off to put the top on. Or if your in the mall then again take it off..so really whats the sense.

Well some of us aren't lucky enough to have the beach to worry about! LOL. Anyway, I was just curious. I saw a couple of postings of dealers windows stickers on the 05's and the ones I saw had it listed as included.

Yeah, as much as I drop it and top it...it would be. Just thought nice eye candy.

Peace

Probably the dealer needed to move a bunch and added them on as dealer installed options....

Well for one it keeps the inside of your top clean... I would hate to go outside and see bird poop, dead bugs and dirt on the inside of the vert top. I drove through Charlotte once and that short trip across town my leather seats had a black dust/film layer on them. Glad I had the boot covering the top. I use mine all the time.

Haha, reminds me when we drove thru Kentucky once, we stayed at a motel and everything was coated in black dust, my wife complained to the lady at the desk while she was checking out and I was packing the car. My wife told me about complaining and that the lady just kind of gave her that deer in the headlights look. I told my wife, this is Kentucky, they do coal mining in Kentucky... Ahhhh...
