HI CLIVE, I have heard of these cards and Midnight Cruiser got some as I heard him mention that he puts them on every Cruiser he sees. Maybe I will start a thread and hope someone knows about the cards. Yes, it is so irritating as now I really honk and got my arm way out the window and they look all around, I hate that. Today this big blue shiny truck came along side of me and I honked and waved at him as his blue was just like mine, he was sort of shocked and rolled down his window and I yelled look our vehicles are the same color. He laughed and gave me a thumbs up, more that I have gotten from Pt drivers. Such a shame as to them it is just transportation and to us it is so important and to me, the love of my life. Thanks for the story Mickey! I walk all day and see alot of PTCs go by. There has been a couple of times I had the chance to say something to the driver when they stopped. Of course I tell them "Nice Cruiser!" Its funny to actually see the initial puzzled look and that change to the realization of what they driving. I was in my postal vehicle the other day and say a Rt 66 a few blocks down. Wondering if it was a guy I know from my local dealer, I stepped on the gas and ran a red light only to find out it wasn't. I hadn't seen a DC4 in person until a couple of months ago at a couple of blocks distance. Now I have seen one twice in the last week while walking my route. That is a beauty but I still like my gold one. ---------- DC1 #1610--5-speed. Its got some stuff. '03 Inferno Red--Its getting some stuff too!

Hi cutie Crystal, was so nice to meet you in Barthesville. Could not get over how cute and and Bobbi are. Anyway Yesterday, I spotted a tangerine dream cruiser like yours Dave- if you read this. I was really happy, my favorite color as belongs to my favorite friend! Fellow Save the PT. I zoomed up to get beside it and waved like crazy- again no reaction. Kkept waving, tried honking, still only dumb looks. What is the matter with everyone? No mods what so ever, of course. Really looked at Pete strangely. They were from Missouri. So it is just not Nebraska drivers that are clueless. To have a dream cruiser and not be so proud of it- it just blows my mind! A couple of weekends ago, me and the missus drove past a popular ice cream restaurant on our way back home. It was Sunday about noontime and there weren't many cars in the parking lot... except for a tangerine colored Prowler *and* a tangerine colored Viper convertible, parked side-by-side. As we drove past in our tangerine Dream Cruiser 2, my wife suggested that perhaps it would be neat to turn around, head back and make it a trio. Gosh, it was tempting... Unfortunately, we were already running a bit late for family obligations and didn't have a camera handy to capture the moment for posterity. It sure woulda been very fun to share a sundae with the owners of those beautiful cars. I think they wouldn't have been as oblivious to the meeting as some other drivers. ----------

Cool Story Clive, I love that Prowler and I never see them anymore in town. What is the story with them, they were discontinued because???. Were they expensive? An orange one would be cool. Wish you would have had time for the picture. I have only seen two dreams in town but saw them in Bartlesville. I love them, Mickey ---------- 2005 ELECTRIC BLUE CLASSIC Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections

Crystal, was nice to meet you too but wish you would have been there longer but you had some family obligations. I totally forgot to look at your tires. Spotted another DCS1 while wife and I were heading into the new Ikea store in Portland, Oregon a couple of weeks ago. Followed it through the parking lot till it parked. As the driver got out we smiled and waved. He sort of half waved with a look on his face of "stupid people, just leave me alone". I wanted to find out what number he had but since he didn't seem in the mood to talk we left. My dad spotted a DCS4 in Washington near Tacoma last week. He bought it! ---------- DC1 #1610--5-speed. Last Saturday, I just finished my route. I made a turn onto the main road to head back to my office. I look behind me and here comes that lady driving the DCS1. She comes up beside me and I wave. I began to motion to her that I had one too. She gave me a thumbs up as she was smiling. Whether she actually understood or not, who knows. It was fun anyway. ---------- DC1 #1610--5-speed.
