Hey folks, I haven't been on this forum for 5 years, since back when I was hoping to buy the DC2 new. Unfortunately, the two local Chrysler dealerships in Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario didn't know how to sell cars. They let me walk away after me practically handing them my wallet. I guess they were making too much money and didn't want my business. However, I had been watching a fine specimen two years ago. I put a note on their car to call me if they ever decided to sell the car. The lady called me and we had a nice chat, but she and her husband were not interested in selling at that time. June 20th of this year, I logged into Kijiji, did a random search for PT Cruisers and there was the car - posted two days prior. I took it for a test ride, struck up a great rapport with them, left a deposit, sold my Mazda Protege5 (also in pristine condition) and picked up the Tangerine Dream - issue 2744 - on Aug 14th (on my beloved mother's birthday). So, I am now the proud owner of a 5 SPEED DC2 in Waterloo Ontario!!! It had 27,500 km, not winter driven, and immaculate. So, anyone from SW Ont here? Any cruises within a 2 hr drive I should know about? I think Niagara Falls holds cruises once in a while. Would love to hook up if it works out. Anyway, this 45 yr old is excited to be part of the DC2 crowd. It's something I've wanted for 5 years now. Do feel free to say hi or offer me any advice please! Cheers, Mark ---------- 2003 Tangerine Dream Cruiser, issue number 2744 5 speed, chrome taillight covers, chrome an leather shift knob, shorty flame antenna Waterloo Ontario Canada *Purchased in pristine condition Aug 14/08 with 27,500 km - not winter driven and lovingly cared for
