Why does the '05 Dream Cruiser series 4 edition have satin silver wheels and not chrome like the GT ? All previous Dreamers were equipped with factory chrome wheels. ---------- '05 Dream Cruiser Series 4, 5-speed, stainless BTG cat/back dual exhaust, Roady 2 XM satellite radio, power antenna, BTG strut tower brace and hood struts Hurst competition shifter, K&N air filter(so far)

Just guessing but I would suppose DC wanted to try something different. Not everyone likes chrome wheels and if they judged sales from previous years they knew what they were doing wasn't working. I'm sure poor sales weren't just because of the wheel selection! I have heard comments about mine (DCS2) that they are really nothing special, identical to the chromes on the stock GT version with an added orange center insert. Can't please everyone. I like the wheels on the 2005, as unique as the vehicle. My only concern would be how to keep them clean. My wife says I already spend enough time with bucket in hand now, I'm guessing your wheels would double my time. Another guess would be that if DC made as few Series 4's as they did the other series, you have a special vehicle either way. ----------
