Re: [Dream3] Eureka Springs Rally Can't Post

I'm glad you posted this for them Crystal!! I just heard from Anita the other day and what a "couldn't be nicer" kind of gal!!

We had a good talk about that part of the country, and it sure made me homesick....I'd LOVE to go to this event!!
If any of the rest of you in the area have never been to Eureka Springs, take yourself on vacation and GO!!

Have fun Crystal and you take care, hope to catch up with you again soon!! Lanette

DanceI cant wait to go there, this will be my third time to go, don't forget to bring your dusters to dust off the tree pollen, I don't think it will be as bad as it was on 05. I have a blast every time I go. Cheers

Re: [pt dave] Eureka Springs Rally Can't Post

Oh I get it .. I register my Duster 340 in California and bring it ..I guess I back it up to the PT, rev it a few times and that blows off the Pollen..Makes more cents than sliding around in my duster.. I do have one question though .. Why cant I just leave it registered in Georgia? Is it because the EPA laws are better in California and therefore they make better pollen blowers?

Randy, don't hold your breath waiting for Doug to show up at Eureka Springs.....his ankle monitor sounds the alarm once he's 200 feet from his house.

I remember seeing him at a few events, but that was waaaayyyy back when we were both younger.

I shore miss him though.

Thanks Crystal, the Wayfaring Cruisers cleaned up with six or seven in the top twenty-five, and also club participation with twenty-four vehicles. Ed and Janet also received the people's choice.

We all had a great time, and look forward to next year's event.

Re: [pt dave] Eureka Springs Rally Can't Post

HI DAVE, I am reading some old posts and tell me about these dusters. I have a huge mitt, never used, some kind of yellow like fleece mitt, think it is for washing your car (belonged to my dad). Can you use that? Or a synthetic feather duster? Do you have to have a special duster? Where do I find that- auto partd store? I told my brother I was going to dust my car and he had a fit, said it would scatch it. He said you have to spray with water and wipe down with nothing but 100% new white bath towels, tags removed ( and never use fabric softener when washing). I do not have access to water in my apartment complex so then I guess I always go to a car wash to spray down? Also do you ever use one of those old shammy things that my dad swears by, to wipe down a car? Thanks, Mickey

Thank you, I was shocked! there were a lot of nicer PT'S than mine was. I had a blast, To me the best part was Friday and Saturday night just setting around in the back of the hotel and visiting with everybody, It don't get any better than that. The show was the best one yet. This was my third year there. And it wont be my last. I think that they deserve a big round of appease for what thy did to put this show on. Bow Bow Bow

Hey Mickey 41, glad to hear of your interest in keepin' your PT Clean. I too use a Cal. Duster like PT Dave. Don't use that long brown one like AUCRZR uses, you'll definately end up with alot of swirls!! I use "The Asorber" (from Wal-Mart) to dry my car with as well as a "drying cloth" from www.perfectautofinish.com he also has a detailing video that you can purchase at GaryKoubaCarCare.com Hope that helps Wave

CheeringThanks Crystal, I have got my list for tomorow! My brother insists on those bath towels. Is that a no-no? He thinks he knows it all. That trip sounded like so much fun- I am so jealous. One day I am going to one. I feel sort of intimidated as mine is just plain factory 2005. Will they laugh at me? I love mine and hope when I see the fancy ones I do not go crazy. Mickey
