Ok, so I have read all about how the multi-disfunction switch goes bad with the fog lights, I figured that's why mine weren't lighting, but i found something that I haven't seen in this forum before. I have a 2001 TE 64k miles. Has factory fog lights, has the switch for fog lights, fuse under dash is fine, fuse under hood is fine, but there is only one set of contacts for the fuse under the hood ON ONE SIDE OF THE FUSE ONLY! Hmmmm.... wd4o ----------

I am having the same problem, except I didn't know that there is a fuse under the hood. Where is it located? Currently the headlights work as well as the high beems, but no fog lights or indicator light in the dash indicating that the fog lights are on. Mine is a 2001 with 79,500 miles. Dave ----------

Hi Dave, The fuses under the hood are in a box behind the air-filter box. I find it easier to remove the whole air-filter assembly to get to the under-hood fuse box. Air-filter box pulls straight up. (It helps to wiggle it left and right.) The fuse box cover has arrows pointing to the place you have to squeeze in order to get the cover to come off. The map for what fuse and relay is which is printed on the inside of the cover. Still can't figure out why I only have the "hot" side of fog-light fuse socket. Jeff ----------

Hi All, I too am having a problem with my fog lights The left one stays on when the cars off, Unless I turn on my left turn signal then it goes off???? The guy I get to work on my PT says it's the Multi-function switch as all the fuses are good. Does anyone know of a good place to order one? How much do they go for? I don't want to order from the dealer here in Canada I know we get to over charged for everything... I have a 2001 Limited Edition PT Thanks, Ray ----------
