Front fascia replacement

Shortly after I became the second owner of an 03 Inferno Red GT Turbo, I discovered something not mentioned in the owner's manual...the bottom of the front bumper fascia is lower than many concrete curbs in parking lots....in some cases, MUCH lower. I pulled out of a parking lot recently and heard two pops...sure enough, the two mounting points on both sides of the front fascia broke loose, and from the looks of it, this is something that can't be repaired - the broken mounting points that bolt to the bottom of each fender look to be vacuum-molded plastic, and both sheared completely off. So, I have two questions for anyone who might know - First, if I opt for just a stock replacement of the front fascia at my local Chrysler dealer, can anyone give me an idea of what this would cost? Second, I've noticed several vendors are manufacturing replacement front fascias for the Cruiser...some of them I like better than the stock fascia...if I order one of these replacement fascias from a third-party vendor, would my local Chrysler dealer install it? Or would that better be handled by a body shop? Any info is greatly appreciated...thanks, Dave ----------

if you go to a dealer, its over 400 dollars. I should know, I've gone through two of them thanks to parking lots. You don't need to have a dealer install it , its held in BY DOUBLE SIDED STICKY TAPE! the 2nd one I got was screwed in as well as taped, but it still didn't stay on for more than 3 months. ---------- 2003 GT Cruiser Fully Loaded Borla Dual Exhaust K&N Drop In filter Viper Remote Start/ Keyless entry
