Sounds like it's rust locked. Soak the hub w/ WD-40, wait a couple of minutes then whack the tire sidewall w/ a big hammer or give it a swift kick. That should break it loose. ---------- Drive Safe & Enjoy the Ride. J. W. Gilbert, MSgt USAF (Retired) 2005 Bright Silver Touring Editon 15" Stock wheels, Lots of chrome...

I agree with that... and once you get the wheel off, clean off any rust/corrosion buildup on the rotor and wheel with a wire brush and/or scotchbrite pad. ---------- Joel

Guys, Thanks for the suggestions!! This, believe it or not is the first front wheel drive vehicle we've ever owned and I thought something weird had happened that I was not familiar with. Anyhow, I got both front wheels off by wacking aganst a block of wood on the back of the wheels, then I put a thin layer of grease around the hubs where the wheel contacts and a little on the wheel itself, so next time I shouldn't have any trouble! ----------

la, No, we don't drive through any more water than the next guy, like I said this is an '06 that we bought in April of '07 brand new, and we just got to the first recomended tire rotation @ 6,000 miles, this is the first time in well over 2 years that the wheels have been off, but I'm convinced that with a cleaning with a wire brush and a light coating of grease that I won't have any more trouble. ----------
