GT wheel sizes?? Can't Post

When did Chrysler go to 17" wheels on the PT GT?? we just bought a brand new '06 GT and don't care for the wheels, and if 17" was available in the more traditional 5 spoke style we'd like to trade with someone that might want the newer style 17" GT wheels.

In 03 the Gt had the 5 Spoke 17" wheel, The 05 Dream 4 was the first one with the 17" 15 spoke chrome wheels. my 06 Gt has them on it and I don't care for them ether.

All the GTs came with 17" wheels. The front brake rotors are larger and for that reason the 17" wheels. Just a note, the 17" GT wheels will fit a n/a PT BUT the n/a PT wheels will not fit/clear the front calipers on the GTs.

OK, Thanks! So, if I'm understanding right there are 2 different variations of 17" wheels for the PT, and the n/a lets say a Limited's 17" wheels won't fit my GT turbo, but MY GTs 17" wheels WILL fit other PTs?? I believe you 100% but this seems stupid of Chrysler to do this.

There are painted and chrome 17" wheels for the GTs. The Street Cruisers, Route 66 and Pacific Coast Highway, which are factory custonized "Touring Edition" Cruisers, I believe they have 17" wheels like those on the GTs. The Turbo-lite Touring and Limited Editions came with 16" wheels.

OK, Then what I would like is to trade my brand new 15 spoke 17" '06 GT rims for the older style 5 spoke CHROME 17" GT rims.
Anyone interested??
