Quote: Dream3 I sent ya a private mail. Hey do you have a "Blow Off Valve" on your DCS#2? Just curious & what does it exactly do? A blow off valve or shift valve is a device that allows boost pressure to be relieved from the intercooler hoses when shifting and the throttle blade is closed. This has two benefits: 1. Turbo stays spooled up, there is no compressor slow down due to "stacking". 2. Turbo lives longer due to boost not "stacking" up on the compressor blade. Stacking is when the pressure in the intercooler hose's is greater than the turbo output- that's the noise you hear when you shift with an open element air cleaner, and it's very bad for the turbocharger. The only Turbo Mopars that came with blow off valves are 88-up Turbo I with automatic trans and some manuals, all 16V Turbo III motors. The only problem is they tend to rupture at 12-13 psi of boost! NOT GOOD. I had the blue blow off valve on the dream but put the stock one back on due to excessive noise. if you go with the stage 1 the stock blow off needs to be replaced with the blue one or a better aftermarket one. you will need to change the plugs and go with aftermarker wires. do not use the stock wires from DC they are junk. This is a good building block to MOPAR ---------- http://community.webshots.com/user/davidrs100

Here are my mods. at 112,600 stage 0 due to miles 1 cut the snorkal flush with the side of airbox. sealed the seam to keep hot air out, 2.K&N drop in air filter 3.AMX1397ttab (plastic) box to turbo, OE tube reduces down from 3" to 1-1/2 inside (to cut down on noise) 4.kept the stock coil. the aftermarket one's are a wast of mod money if you do (IMO ) 5.NGK 4306 \ crain wires 6.06 plastic intake (flows better, and a lot less heat soak.) this is how DC went from 220 to 230 hp. 7.Progress sport springs. (cut the front bump stop on the 2nd groove) tweeked the springs to ride better. ---------- http://community.webshots.com/user/davidrs100
