To give you an idea of where the PTs will be parked, here is a pic from last year. We are on the sidewalk in front of the dropoff area. The PTs will be parked in the dropoff area.

Ok folks—the big event is just six weeks away! It's time to get your registration forms sent in! Also, if you even think you might come, please book your room. After March 14, the rates go from $74 to $119, and there's just not anything less expensive in the area. Come on down! The weather will be warm (comfortably warm), the dogwoods and azaleas will be in bloom, and several of your buddies are already coming down! ----------

Hi Rhonda, Looking more and more forward to the weekend. Just got 6 more inches of snow last night, bringing the season total to over 50" so far. Tired of plowing the drive and wearing a winter coat - temps have been below zero with winds 40+mph. Winds took down my 6 ft high cedar fencing. See you soon. Gary

I just changed that. Caught the weather report - Detroit has had 38" and areas 25 to 35 miles to the north have gotten as much as 79". I'm a little east of that. ---------- If it's gonna happen - it's gonna happen out there.

Hi Mike, I'll drink to that. It's to bad we can't get Milos up here. All we've got is Arizona Sweet Tea and that's made in Canada for a New York distributor. Have a great trip. ---------- If it's gonna happen - it's gonna happen out there.

We'll be following you in the door. I just got this in the mail from the Greater Toledo PT Cruiser Club A Michigan Poem It's winter here in Michigan And the gentle breezes blow Sixty miles an hour At seventeen below. Oh, how I love Michigan When the snow's up to your butt You take a breath of winter And your nose gets frozen shut. Yes, the weather here is wonderful So I guess I'll hang around I could never leave Michigan 'Cause I'm frozen to the ground

I work with someone from Michigan (he grew up in the "thumb," what ever that is. ). Whenever someone talks about the windchill, he says, "if you have to use the windchill to describe the cold, it aint cold!" Looking forward to seeing everyone in April. Registrations in the mail! I sent them an e-mail and told them the story of the Honorary Southerner and about you tasting Milo's tea for the first time. (I mentioned that you took some back home to Michigan.) They enthusiastically offered to provide Milo's tea for all! This weekend I'm going to talk to the manager of Milo's in Wildwood (very near the hotel) to see if we can have the show-n-glow there. If you think the tea is good, try a fried peach pie! Oh my! http://www.milostea.com/ http://www.miloshamburgers.com/ You ought to check out the "History" button. It's kinda neat. My family has told me stories of going to the original Milo's downtown since it's opening. I was thrilled when they started doing franchises while I was in college, because then was close to me! There's no ketchup, mustard, lettuce, or any of that. It's just a good piece of meat with a special sauce and onions on the top. (Yes, they will hold the onions.) My sister likes the sauce so much, she gets extra and dips her fries in it. The fries won Best in Birmingham not long ago; they've got seasoning salt on them. You can get a burger, fries, tea, and pie for $5 and change. Oh, now my tummy is growling! ----------

My guess is, the peach pie would rank above the apple or lemon down there, as for the burger, you just can't hold the onions. Looks like a plan. I checked the history, Milo really got around, a rather interesting life. ---------- If it's gonna happen - it's gonna happen out there.

I keep forgetting to pass this along: We will be awarding a trophy for Best Tailgate Display. In other news, please remember that March 14 is the last day to reserve a hotel room at $74; after that it goes back to $119. Also let me know if you want to order a T-shirt by then. If you know anyone who would like to be a sponsor, I need two more. Thanks! ----------
