Heat Shield Bolts Can't Post

I found the same problem as Bigem the other day. One of the Heat Shield bolts sheared off at the head. I took the car to the dealer and they looked at me as if I had three heads. I showed them the problem and they acted as if it was my fault. They stated that they needed to call Chrysler and take photos. I mentioned that I was alerted to this problem by reading info on the internet. This only seemed to make them madder. I guess they do not like an informed consumer. I also got the TSB 18-18-00 update. They almost had a coronary when I showed them the bulletin from the members section.

As mentioned I have the same problem, one heat shield bolt is sheared off, as facing the engine, it is the one on the right. The dealer I took it to, immediately ordered a new bolt and a new heat shield (just in case). He said he did not know how intense the repair would be, may have to drill out the manifold.......possibly more, its hard to get to. But it is all covered under warranty. any others out there with this problem?

Is this for vehicles only equipped with the engine block heater????

Where is the heat shield located at?
