Just a note to say I hope all you PTr's in the OK, KS, NE and MO region are safe and warm tonight. My Tulsa area family has been w/o power since the first night, but they are staying in and not traveling the roads. It's a mess, I know. So stay safe and I hope you that have lost power and are iced in, get everything back on soon and hopefully things will warm up soon. ----------

Hi Lanette, I am also worried about my family in Nebraska and Iowa. So far so good for them as far as outages. I also hope everyone in the Midwest is doing well. Why do you think I left the Artic? We have been complaining about rain for five days here and 60 degree highs! I love it in Phoenix- sun is shining today and beautiful. Mickey We Southerners would give anything to complain about rain for five days!! Temperature here yesterday was 78 degrees! Nice, but doesn't feel like Christmas season!! Sincerely hope all mentioned above are staying safe AND warm!! ---------- If you don't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them! Mickey, I was thinking about you over the weekend and was glad you were not in Nebraska and not at that shopping mall. How is your Mom doing in that weather? Charlie ----------

Hi Charlie, Missed being on the forum chatting with you, guy. Mom is a stubborn almost 90 year old, self sufficient, insists on her weekly outing to the grocery store, getting around better than I did on ice. I tried and tried to get her to come with me but Nebraska is her home. I have shopped at that Mall in Omaha and my daughter lives right across the river in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Her poor husband runs along the side of a UP railroad train all day. They make them tough in the north country. Hope you and the misses and pups have a great Christmas, Mickey ---------- 2005 ELECTRIC BLUE CLASSIC Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. You have one amazing mother. She must come from some hearty stock. I am soooo glad my parents moved from Iowa before I was born. I don't think I could have survived those winters. It is 9:45AM and 57 degs. here and I am freezing. Ohhh I wish I was back in Maui!. So tell me, what is your Arizona license plate going to have on it? Merry Christmas to you and your hubby.
