How long on the train ??? Can't Post

My wife's Cruiser started down the assembly line on 12/30 and continues today (sort of a New Year's baby). I assume it will be finished and ready for the train ride in the next several days. I'm on the east coast (Baltimore/Washington area)- how long should I expect for the train/truck ride etc?? Anyone else on the east coast track the shipping timeframe??

Hi Barry,
I live in Mass. and my car was built in appr. 24 hrs. From then it was sent by train from Toluca, Mex. to Laredo, TX and that is when I started to track it on Union Pacific RR. From Build to Laredo only took a couple of days - most. Then the trip to my dealers including a train change bringing it to Selkirk, N.Y. From there put on a truck for the trip to Mass. THIS ALL TOOK 13 DAYS. Call DC if you haven't got your Shipping # which should be something like TTGX123456 (Ex.) With that you can go to the UPRR site and track it yourself. After UPRR mine was put onto CSXT RR and use the same Shipment# - its really a RR Car number.

UPRR site is: http://my.uprr.com/pub/pet/

CSXT site is: (http://twsnetpublic.csx.com/iiop/www_1.0/com.csx.csxt.common.twsnetbase.CSXMainPage?module=carTrace

Hope this is helpful and Good Luck and Congrats!!!!!!

Mine took 11 days on the train to get to Jessup. MD. Depending on your dealers location, your PT will either go to Jessup (off of Route 1 south of 175)or to Newark, DE. Once your PT has been shipped and you have a train car number from DC, the UPRR tracking site will show its final destination. Give it a few days to get through Laredo, TX for it to show up on the UPRR site. The train will go throught TX, AR, MO and into IL near East St. Louis. There it will switch to CSXT (if going to Jessup) and go from IL, to IN, OH, PA and into MD. My car took 7 more days to get from Jessup to Timonium (all of 30 miles) but that included the Thanksgiving holiday. If you thought BX was bad, this train waiting can be even worse.
