Hurst shifter for '08 Cruiser Can't Post

I'm wanting to install a Hurst shifter in my base model '08 cruiser, but can't seem to find any listed to fit it. Any ideas where to start looking? Is there a change in trannies at some point so that the current shifter won't fit? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Not sure if this will work: http://ptboutique.com/items/pt-cruiser/pt -cruiser-parts/performance/mopar-performance/hurst-short-throw-shifter-p4510xxx-detail.htm

I found it on a PT website, it does not say what years it will fit.

Good Luck

WaveMy guess is if its a manual transmission, you should not have a problem with fitment. My problem is the price...Wink

Keep an eye on ebay though, I watched a shifter kit go one time for less than $100. Silly me--I should of gotten in on that one but didn't.Frown

Before you jump out and buy the Hurst shifter you may want to visit www.cardomain.com specifically http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2272425?cmd Apexanimal aka Scott's Chryler PT Cruiser had some noteworthy experience with the linkage and subsequent modifications to giterdun. Hope this is helpful for you.
