Howdy all, i am finely in D1 status only was in BX HE!! for 2 days. I should have my new Convertible by 15 April 04. I got my VIN # today YEAAAAA  Let the  begin

 Great that youre car is moving right along. Seems that the convertibles are coming a little faster than the sedans did several years ago. By now I would hope they had these things down to a science. A few convertibles have been filtering thru here on the east coasst as well, but most dealers dont have them yet and most are really clueless about them much like the sedans of several years ago. Ill wait till the pipeline is full then try to deal on one. May not be this summer, but eventually LOL Have a great day!

RagTop I ordered mine feb 13 got my vin no. today You should get yours sooner than you think check uppr.com and watc it travel Union pacific Just go to uppr.com and put in your vin no I did this 3 years ago and watched my limited

Hey Rag top, Just call DC and got my expected departure date today and it will leave Mexico on Mar 30. Should be in my hands by 15 Apr. YEAAAAAA

Cruiserboy, I ordered the Touring Edition with the 2.4L 180 HP Turbo, with Automatic, AM/FM/CD/Cassette, Midnight Blue pearl coat. I did not want any other options. Most of the options I had on my original 01 Early model is standard on the Convertible.
I have an XM radio and will add it to my Convertible, will have to figure out where to put the antanne. I am thinking about puting it on the dash up close to the windshield in the middle.

We ordered gt but all models are ready to order most in stock Wehave 6 gts on lot and 1 basic due in any day at dealer where i ordered mine

I guess some of the dealers must have them here. In our local club, we had 2 new ones at the last meeting. A cool vanilla and a black with the navigation system. That was cool. They are really pretty. The owners let everyone sit in them and get in the back seat and all. The gal that owns the vanilla did not even trade in her other cruiser! As one member said, that's a lot of cruiser for just one gal! LOL.

RagTop here . Did the cool vanilla have a taupe top and the pearl inside? That is what I ordered with everything but the nav. system wonder if you liked what you saw?

Yes, though it was dark when I saw it it was a beautiful color combo! We were under street lights. It looked beautiful! She had the top down so we could all see the inside. I think you will be very happy with it! She said she was going to do a chrome bumper and I think that wold look really pretty. I am not sure, but it seemed the chrome grille accents were a bit more delicate than on the '04s. I thought it was really pretty.
We had the black one with us on our cruise today, which was a blast (Thanks, Don!). I meant to check the chrome grille on his but I forgot!  I am not sure whether I was seeing things or whether it really had a more refined chrome accent on the grille.
Anyway we had so many cars I never got very close to the black one today, but I'll check the grille out next time i see one. The interiors are definitely cool!!

Thanks for the answer my wife is a designer and she picked the colors I found out today my conc. will be built within 5 days We waited 9 mths for our 2001 limited and had it 3 years Great Car

Well i changed my pt conv color i saw a cool vanilla and could not live it Picked up my lt almond with toupe top and light interier its beautiful put 100 miles on it what a performance car

Kwel Rag Top, glad you got the Covertible that you wanted. Well I have tracked my PT all the way to Kansas City. Now i have to wait till Wed. Apr 21st to get Cliff. I called Cassens trucking to see if they could hot load my PT so i could get it today and they said it would cost me another $500.00 to do it. I said no thank you i can wait 5 more days LOL
