Someone out there claimed that the "2001-2005" three-piece visor also fit the later models, but I can't find the message now. This is of interest to me too, since I own an '07.

Cool. How do you like them? I'm thinking of ordering a set since I found them at a shockingly low price on one website.

I like them fine. The reason they're so inexpensive is that they're merely three pieces of polished aluminum cut into lemon shapes with adhesive on one side. ----------

Yep, got mine about 10 months ago when Moss motors was going out of business. They really add to the look of the guages! You can use the same set on the vents as well. However the vents take a bit more effort. When finished, the vents look like the older style stop light hoods... only shiny. ----------

I went a little bit nuts and squandered a fair-sized chunk of my tax refund on chrome It's finally starting to warm up here, so I hope to start putting it on this weekend.

So, my visors showed up and there's only one adhesive strip in the package. Are you supposed to cut the strip into three pieces, or did I get gypped?

How long is the adhesive? I got mine almost a year ago and believe it was one strip that I had to cut. I recall having to trim one back from the edge of the trim before putting it on the car. They still look great! Terry ---------- Living Happily Ever After, Now and Then in Millbrook, AL.

Hi Terry. The strip is about 4" long. Did you cut yours into three pieces or six? I'm thinking the latter approach might be better, anchoring the visor at two points instead of one. RE: your signature, did Chrysler offer a VHF/UHF rig as an option, or is it aftermarket? I'm assuming the latter. Either way, very cool! ---------- 2007 Limited, Auto, 2.4L NA

Wow, 4 inches?! Mine was easily as long as the three visors together and then a bit. I'm not sure how you would make the 4 inches stretch for all three. As for the UHF/VHF, it was definitely an "after market" option. I use the "alph-numeric" display to show "07 PT Cruiser" usually. Sometimes, I even talk to hams. I just double-checked and yes, it's definitely a single strip of adhesive about 4" long. Is it just regular double-sided tape or some super-strong 3M-type deal? I'd rather just go buy some tape than deal with having to return the thing. ---------- 2007 Limited, Auto, 2.4L NA

Mine was the white double sided 3M tape. Really good stuff. I also carefully opened my visors up a bit to match the exact shape so they would not have any pressure pulling them up. They look great and have not even tried to come up. :) Terry ---------- Living Happily Ever After, Now and Then in Millbrook, AL.

No glare. In fact, I'm 6', and I almost have to stretch my neck just to see the shiny tops of the visors when I'm in the driver's seat. ----------

Mine came with a seperate strip for each visor. They were also 3m double sided strips. I don't have any problems at all with glare. Here's a pic of mine installed. I used the same type of visors to cover my vents. Love em. -Ray

Darn. I was thinking about putting them on my vents, but you obviously can't direct the air up toward your face with them one. ----------

That's what I was thinking when I first put them on, but I've had no trouble at all directing them upward. Both me (at 5' 7") and my brother (6') can direct the air up to and even above our face. -Ray ----------

It looks as if the lower corners of the visors are sticking out of the vent openings. Is that the case? Did you just wedge them in, or use some 3m adhesive somewhere? ----------

A little bit of both. There is 3m tape on the bottom, just like the guages. But they are wedged between the vent and plastic bezel. -Ray ----------
