Intermittent window

The passenger window intermittently would not close after the door was closed. Hitting the "up" button closed it, so I did not worry (much). Recently, the window would not close when I put the top up at first. It ultimately went up, but I need to do something. Is there a consistent problem that I should learn how to fix myself because it will occur regularly or just take it to the dealer? It is 2 years old. ----------

When in warranty let the dealer fix it. ----------

I took it to the dealer who replaced the "regulator" under warranty. They assured me that this was "uncommon". I hope this is true as the complexity of the automatic window dropping and closing has been a fear of mine since I bought it. So far so good! ----------

We can't open the door unless we open the window just a little and we have to do the same when closing it. Made an appointment with the dealer for the third of Oct. ---------- big jim
