LOL!! Answering my own quesiton here . Here's the answer from Steve at Haynes as of today, 2/1/07, regarding 2006 autom. turbos with ABS/trac control: Hi Melissa, They just started to release part numbers and kits for them however the auto w/ abs is not yet released. It does have a number but is not yet supplied to flight systems for programming. We do expect them soon. Sorry to be listening in on your conversation with yourself Melissa .....but you are aware of the biggest problem faced when adding Stage 1 to a Turbo Lite (or Diet, as you so eloquently refer to them): the potential for wrinkles. Yes, wrinkles. A perpetual smile can cause an increase in facial wrinkles, crows feet, etc. And your facial muscles get a little sore from all that ear to ear grinning. Oh, and tires have been known to wear out a little sooner, too. Other than that though, I say go for it!! ---------- '04 Limited Edition Platinum Series Turbo Lite + Stage 1 + VAK intake + Magnecor wires = 14.48 @ 95mph Pix here

LOL!! You know, my ex-husband (we were in HS together, too) would have a good laugh if he saw all of my posts here---he and I go way back when I was still driving my 383 w/ 2-4bbl carbs Mopar with flames and I actually knew what I was looking at when I popped the hood. My father (b. 1910) made me the gray-haired female still-obsessive motorhead I still am today....the automobile was his greatest dream in life and somehow that got communicated to us....the problem's always been: champagne muscle car taste and a motor scooter pocketbook Yup, I can't wait for more "Stage 1" wrinkles, as you put it--- I wanna be rockin' and rollin' in my Moonbop....but hopefully, this time around, the state boys and local PD won't be pulling me over with flashlights every Friday night---very big grin. <hopefully, this time around, the state boys and local PD won't be pulling me over with flashlights every Friday night---very big grin.> Nah. They'll never catch you. ---------- I'm at that awkward age. I ask for the senior discount at restaurants, but my PT still has Stage 1 and dual 10" subwoofers.

LOL, Mike! It's true...at least a person knew what they were looking at back in those days! Today, my son was trying to explain to me what the so-called "carb" of today looks like/what it is and I thought I was taking lessons in a foreign language (he's a really good diagnostician auto mechanic).......I was never lucky enough to become one as only one of 2 girls in the 1960's, and the first one to ask to take auto mechanics and I was denied because I was female...shoulda sued the buzzards but back in those days, you didn't do those things. So I had to learn everything the hard way. Yeah, I miss that ol' 64 mopar.....had the plain savoy body which made the flames of the era look really nice against the plain black body---in the end, that body style became rare, i.e., there were lots of satellite bodies around but no Savoys. Of course, today, the custom-painted flame job would get laughed at, but back then in a small WI town, it was really something....painted by a guy who's now in his 60's and he worked his entire career in auto body painting. But nice as it was then, when I look at the one surviving photo wrinkled photo fragment of it now, I laugh when I turn around and look at the fabulous job on AUCRUZR's PT. He's got the ultimate paint job, at least to my eye---it just grabs me with the oranges/yellows against that blue. Take care, Lis ---------- Melissa in Wisconsin: MOONBOP, the 2006 Electric Blue PT Turbo Touring Convertible 16" chrome rims, grill, etc. Mods stacking up for Spring '07 application

Scotner: Hee-haw! Especially if their on foot like they were back in the late 60's and early 70's....can you imagine beat cops jumping out of dark alleys at me, waving flashlights? LOL!! True, stories, though. Yeah........never catch me.........THAT's the ticket! (As long as it doesn't end up to be a paper ticket ) Llis ---------- Melissa in Wisconsin: MOONBOP, the 2006 Electric Blue PT Turbo Touring Convertible 16" chrome rims, grill, etc. Mods stacking up for Spring '07 application
