Let's Go (Sea) Cruising Can't Post

The west coast has been doing this and it's about time the east coast jumped in on it.

We've set up an ocean cruise and it's far enough in advance for you all to plan on it and book it and pay for it. The Carnival Cruise Lines Celebration ship out of Jacksonville FL. A 5 day cruise leaving Monday February 05 2007 and returning Saturday February 10 2007. Five days of fun and sun that includes Nassau Bahamas and Key West Florida.

For details, go to:
THE BIG SEA CRUISE 2007

Re: [FlowRW] Let's Go (Sea) Cruising Can't Post

February 10th is the cut off for the cheap deposit for this cruise. Only $25.00 to hold your cabin and no minimum or monthly payments. Just have it paid off by Nov 01. Check the details out at the links on the above post. You can still book and cruise after Feb 10th but the deposit goes up.

As of Friday Feb 02...we already have 20 cabins booked with (PT) Cruisers.

You just might have one or two couples coming from California for this fine event!! It certainly sounds very tempting indeed.

We would love to have you all join us. We had a few late day bookings and are up to 23 cabins already. Ever been to Key West and Sloppy Joes? Lots of fun. How about the Bahamas?

Come on and do it in the east! And it won't be hurricane season either!

Re: [Mylilcruz] Let's Go (Sea) Cruising Can't Post

Apparently the Gov't has pushed back (once again) the requirement of PASSPORTS.

It looks like Jan 01 2008 is now the magic date.

SO YOU WILL NOT NEED A PASSPORT FOR THIS CRUISE. Just a picture ID and a birth certificate.

Check out: http://www.travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc/cbpmc_2223.html

The travel agent did say that this is the third time the gov't has changed their mind and that they could very well change the date again but in the other direction. She advises getting a passport anyway. This way you are covered regardless of whatever date they may/may not change it to.

I saw that Sal. Thank's a bunch. So far you are the long distance winner. Not really a prize for that but I'll treat you two to a Margarita on board.

Re: [Sal NY] Let's Go (Sea) Cruising Can't Post

We are quite excited about the cruise, but we are even MORE excited to be able to finally get to meet some of our chat room friends and - have the opportunity to become re-acquainted with those we have met before. That is the true gift here - the cruise is just the frosting on the cake!!! But. . . . .SOME frosting!!!!

Re: [FlowRW] Let's Go (Sea) Cruising Can't Post

Well, I guess it is official - barring any crazy circumstance, we are paid up for our cruise with y'all and are SO looking forward to this fun adventure. Now we just have to save our pennies, nickels and dimes for "who knows what"!!!!

Who all is making this trip with the Carolina Cruisers? We are bringing at least one other couple from our local group - and maybe another couple as well.

This will be our first sea cruise and we are very much looking forward to spending it with other PT fanatics!!!!

Re: [cruzberg] Let's Go (Sea) Cruising Can't Post

Hey Cruzberg...hope you're doing good.

We have approx 50 cabins booked, somewhere around 104 people. Carnival is letting us have a meeting room or bar or someplace so we can have a "meet n greet". We're looking to do it Tuesday AM which is a full day at sea. Bring a 8x10 picture of your PT so we can have our cars there as well. There are a few "non-PTers" in the group but most of us are Cruisers. Some you know and some you will meet for the first time.

If you don't have your passport yet, you might want to get that done.

More emails will go out to the group as we get closer.

Have our passports - did that before the trip to Ireland last May. Our friends are getting theirs renewed as they had expired. But thanks for the reminder!!!
