Lugs to secure OEM Wheelcover???

Hi- Hopefully someone has a master parts number list for what I'm looking for. I bought a used set of OEM wheel covers for my '01 cruiser. However they didn't come with the 5 plastic (I assume) lugs to secure the cover to my steel wheel. I do know the used wheel covers came from a '06 cruiser and they cover and my steel wheel lug pattern perfectly. My 16" steel wheel 5 lug pattern have threads on the outside to accept the ones for the wheel cover, so I know the cover will fit...but won't stay on very long without the missing "plastic" lugs to secure them on . Local Chrysler parts department said these little parts only come as part of the wheel cover assembly and they couldn't find them listed individually. Hmmm...convenient as each individual wheel cover costs over 100 bucks . Surely they sell these little lugs somewhere...or maybe someone here has another suggestion?? Thank You! ----------

What's interesting is the '01 is like that (we had one), but with my wife's '04 the OEM wheelcovers were held on by the same lugs that hold on the rim, too. The problem we had with our '01 wheelcover nuts was that tire shops would strip them out when using an air gun. they are just plastic. You might try to get some '04 lugs. They are better. ---------- 2005 Stone White SRT4 2004 Graphite Auto
