Hello Fab and fellow PTers...
Thanks for thinking of us...
Hope everyone is ready for one of the Midwest's largest PT Parties! We have put the finishing touches and everything is in place! We are only one week away of the opening of this summer's Meet Me In St. Louis event.
We apologize for the brief delay on updates but the St. Louis area rode out some major weather extremes this week (getting it all out of the way for next week's PT Party!)
As you may have heard on the national news and weather channel, St. Louis was hit by some violent storms on Wednesday with 90+ mph winds knocking out power to nearly all of St. Louis.
My power just was restored this morning after almost 3 days with no power or air conditioning in 100+ temperatures... Electric power contractors from 12 surronding states are working around the clock to have all of St. Louis at full power in just a couple of days (plenty of time before next weekend).
Our event hotel and grounds are in GREAT SHAPE and also now have full power restored.
More good news... the heatwave extemes have broke and beautiful cooler weather is forecast for next week.
Stay tuned for some upcoming MMISL pre-event updates!
