Do you feel like I do?
I am not going to any "mopar shows", I go to "PT Cruiser" shows. So far there are two off my list this year, Cruise the Falls and Cruise the Glen.
Don't get me wrong, I love car shows. I go to lots of them, I love the Classic cars, Hot Rods and Antiques. I just really don't like PT Cruiser Club shows that are now NOT going to be just PT Cruisers. I really liked the idea of a all PT club and have made a big effort to go to the different get togethers around the northeast. Maybe in 25 years when mine is a antique I won't mind competing with other cars of this era, but now I just want PT shows that show off PTs in all there uniqueness. I think of all the heads that turn when people see 500 very unique PT Cruisers cruisin by. Am I already looking at the good old days?

Nope.
I was doing Mopar Shows before the PT Cruiser was even an idea in somebody's mind. I also go to "open car" shows, classic car shows, and PT Cruiser shows.

Nope also. Do a cruise-in on Friday nights in town with all kind of cars from old to brand new.

If it is a Show .I go .. I have been to plenty of Mopar Shows. I will this year. I go to many Open Cars shows. Heck I even took my PT to the Daytona Turkey Run where you have to send pixs of your car so it can go before a board (Daytona Beach Street Rods) and they decide IF your car can be in the show(anything after 1979) Out of 10,000 cars maybe 10 were newer than 79. I heard a few grumbles, but heard hundreds of Cool Car. I have done several World of Wheels in different cities. Yes there are some jerks at these shows . BUT who cares..There are always nice people also.. Trust me I have met plenty of Jerks at PT only shows. A lot of people have met me at PT Only Shows  and some think I am a jerk (or worse) 
I have a 1969 SS Chevelle and 79 El Camino that I show. I have had the Chevelle and Elky at Open shows and I hear the griping about the newer cars,teens etc.. These guys/ladies are just not happy people to start with..
I dont give a rip what they think . I actually think its  to go to open shows with the PT and win and listen to the Chevelle guys !@$#@!%^$#@! cause I won and they didnt.
I am a car/truck/if it has wheels guy . I do not care what brand or year it is .If its a Cool Vehicle to me,Its a Cool Vehicle . These fella's stuck in a time warp or brand zone ,well they are just missing out. Me I AM THERE having a  while they 
I will add this ..I have been to shows and it was OBVIOUS that the promoters of the show only let the newer cars in to get their $$$ or only their friends win no matter the cars or type of show..Now these I do not go back to with any of my cars. I have been to enough shows that I can go just about all year and I have eliminated those promoters shows.
So pick the shows you like and have fun at and go to those. The ones you didnt dont go back..After a while you will have a list of the ones you enjoy..
