"Mother Road Cruise" on Route 66 in NM

My friends up in Los Lunas/Belen NM are putting on a cruise this year, for the people in the Southwest Region. They are using my usual Event Weekend, and putting on a good event for the PT'rs.
I hear there's going to be a Poker Walk in Albuquerque Old Town and some REAL site seeing!
I will probably use the same weekend in '09, and put on my annual Mountain Cruise again, but I needed a year off!

"The Mother Road" PT Cruise, will be in Los Lunas, NM, Oct 24-26. Hosted by the Road Runner PT Cruisers in NM.
"The Mother Road" aka Route 66. What a wonderful memory to all of us, and what a fun place to cruise!!!!!!
We will be putting a different twist on our event, by focusing on the pre-1937 version of the old Route 66.
"Early bird" surpises will start the evening of the 23rd. The fun will begin. Those staying over on Monday will have some surprises also!
Details and registration forms will be coming shortly, so mark your calenders.

Wow, I may actually be able to make it to this!! It'll be so nice to meet other Cruiser owners. We have an enormous PT population in San Juan County, so I am amazed that there is no activity here. I can't even get the other drivers to wave at me.

Hi Stina!!! 
I'm also NMcruiserchick, so you know me from the Flickr place....glad you can be there, it will be in your part of the state and yes, it's surprising people don't want to come out and have fun!!
In my humble opinion, they really don't know WHAT they are missing....they have this impression of the idea of PT Cruiser events, but until they see a group of us together up there, they won't get it.
I have done this since Sept 2000, and until a group of the CA people came to Carlsbad, the people here had the wrong idea of what it is about. So maybe this will help you in your area. PTCC could use a good group of people in Farmington!!

I thought that was you!
This one is still a ways away -- about 3.5 hours from Farmington -- so I'll have to scare up some vacation time to do it. I'll see about getting it announced up here and maybe find a few others who can make the trip.
