My PT's theme??

Hello All.....
I am attending my 1st PT Cruise-In/Car show on Saturday and I am looking at 2 possible Themes for my PT's rear hatch area.
1st one: New York Jets
I am a huge NY Jets football fan and I have a couple of Jets jerseys, a 3 x 5 flag/banner, some McFarlane sports figures and a bunch of other cool Jets items to display on my rear shelf.
2nd one: PT Cruisers
I have a bunch of 1/64th scale 2001 Muscle Machine PT Cruisers and a couple bigger scale ones. Along with my 2001 PT Cruiser sales brochures, accessories book, advertisements, and mags all about the 2001 PT.
So which do ya'll think would be more suited for a car show that I entered the STOCK class in?
Jets Theme or PT Theme??

HI GARPIKE, Well look at you, already getting a display! I would go for the Jets. Do you know Sooner Cruiser? He has all OSU, loaded in his hatch display. Well all over the car. It is awesome. His car is even red and white. A lot of people have such wonderful displays. Do you know JKID from the chat room, is wife is an artist and has these beautiful portraits in the back. Wait till you see what people do with their cars. I want a full report when you come back! Have a great time- as if I have to tell you that! Mickey

Interesting!
I never thought about a PT having a "theme" for the hatch area, before....
Since you're a big Jets fan, that would be a good choice. 
I just realized what my PT's theme is:
"Dumpster" 
(Gotta clean up back there!  )

Go for the Jets, if that's your favourite. Mine, I'd probably do a Greenbay thing, maybe even Patriots, but leaning more to Green Bay lol

I vote for the JETS....J-E-T-S, JETS ,,JETS,JETS....Miss CRN's tailgate is the PT Cruiser Pro Bowl with all the 2001 NFL PT Cruisers playing the game with N.E Patriots and NY Giants Bear cheerleaders,Both our favorite teams.We also have a tailgate party going with a 1988 giants grill and little HHR's cooking on scures,they make tasty snacks.and pretzels and snacks for all who want them......I like it.....Mike

On a side note: Mickey, you need to know that OSU (Cowboys) {orange & white} are the #1 rival of OU (Sooners) {crimson & cream}. Thought I'd let you know before Frank (SoonerCruiser) flames you.

Thanks Silver Ghost, that is just great! That I made that mistake, as he already hates me! I do not know why, as when I met him in Bartlesville, I was wearing my Nebraska Cornhuskers shirt and had my pen that played the Cornhusker song. He didn't recognize it at first and when he did, he backed off like I had shot him, lol. The best part, I beat him in the slow drag, loved it. I will have to keep a low profile around him! GO BIG RED, FRANK!!!!!

DAVE, HELP, I think I made a big mistake. I watched the video of the slow drag and did we beat Frank ?- why did I think we did and in the video, the last two cars were the Coke one and Frank. At least that is what the commentator, Anita said. I am confused now. Didn't DeShado and I race the last race against the Coke one? Maybe the Coke one beat Frank- shows that in the video- and we were the the winner of the other heats, that was it, I think and had to race the Coke one.
I am in deep do do with Sooner. What does that mean when you say Boomer anyway. One time on the forum, Frank, I think said Sooner ,and then someone else says like you did, I say Boomer, what the hay, speaking in tongues again!

Wow I am confused as heck!! No problem though Dave.
When Frank said Boomer I thought he was refering to the Boomer that used to be the QB for the Bengals...(a dig towards the Jets Theme)...but I could be WAY off on that though!
Anywho...I decided to go with a mixture of the 2 themes today in Dayton!!
I will be posting pics from the show as soon as I can get them uploaded....WOW, I took alot of pics!

Cool choice, I was going to suggest that, as that is what I have started, but thought you might think it was lame. Mine is 1/2 Huskers as you know how expensive that logo stuff is, be it Jets, OS- I guess- Cornhuskers- or PTC. Just got a Husker blanket for back there. Then 1/2 of it is forum stuff, like a sweatshirt folded to show the club, all my Bartlesville memorabilia, even my ticket stubs, lol, then I have hot wheels of all kinds, not ptc ones, just blue ones of all kinds, then I have a blue squirt gun- ask PT Dave about his orange one and who won. And last but not least, in the center of it all, in all of its glory, my TROPHY. I leave it all back there too. The blanket makes it so nothing rolls off. I mean why put Pete's honor on the wall, it is hers, not mine.
Anxious to see your pictures. I bet you had the best, good crusin young bud, Mickey
