Karen, I feel your pain, but not quiet as badly Wink.

Here in NW Florida we are paying $3.24 for reg. But every once in awhile it will drop down to $3.19 at the local wal mart. So, when I see it drop I tap it off! Teddi

Maybe a little bit interesting: we in The Netherlands pay for 1 liter leadfree €1,55Frown
1 US gallon = 3.78541178 liters
That is for a gallon €5,87

€1 = $1.57
€ 5,87 = $9.22FrownFrownFrown

CheeringHi Karen, we are paying around $3.17 a gallon. I am working now and have to drive 60 miles a day round trip to downtown Phoenix. Hate to stop at the gas station twice a week and watch the mileage of Pete go up. Extra bonus, fighting the traffic is always fun as well. What can we do anymore? Mickey Wave

I guess I will have to stop filling up with plus as gas went up again to $3.61/gallon.

If gas goes up to $4.00 per gallon, I will start driving one of these...

Best price in the Newburgh, NY area as of today was $3.25/gal for 87 octane.

I drive about 70 miles per day and only averaged 22.5MPG on my last tankful.

The gov't says gas will likely hit $4/gallon this year. Since the government tends to make rosy predictions (to put it mildly), this really worries me.

It depends on the liter. whether is imperial or stright metic. In England they use Imperial and its like 5.??? liters to the gallon @ 99.pence a liter.

Re: [anoldhippy] My Piggy Bank... Can't Post

haha! It's not a Vespa. It' by the Genuine Scooter Company. Costs about half as much. I added the front basket and the chrome rack in back.

http://www.genuinescooters.com/

The pink was a 2006 color only. The 2008 colors are black, red, orange, seafoam, and blue. The main sell for me (besides the color) is that it's an automatic. It's got a 125cc engine. In theory, it goes up to 80 mph, but the fastest I've gone is 65 mph.

I live in a pretty hilly area, and I get 80-100mph. They hold 1.5 gallons of gas. I usually fill up once a week. You can take them on state highways but not the interstate.

For anyone who gets a scoot, don't get a 50cc. You'll be doing well to go 45 mph. 125cc and up is the way to go.

Another cool thing: A custom tag is only $7 compared to $50 for the Cruiser.

Well, gas went up again.

Mad I am now paying $3.67/gallon for 88 octane. Mad

It seems like all these gas stations need to hear is that the price of gas might go up; they make it so it does.

So far this is the highest price of gas in northern NM. 45-50 miles down, the gas is at least 10 cents cheaper and up north at least 3 cents cheaper.

Me again,

Gas went up $.10 overnight after going up $.10 about 2 days before. Now 88 octane is running about $3.81/gallon. I think we need major help. Maybe if everyone called their local congressmen and senators, we might get some answers.

$4.00 per gallon here we come!

If any senators or congressmen read this, please help the gas prices go down. Thank You
