My Two Tangerine PT'S Can't Post

OK Some of you know that I wanted to turn my Dream 2 into a Dream Panel. I have been thinking long and Hard on this Mod. I could not do that to the dream. so I was thinking of doing it to the 06 GT, but i wanted a Tangerine Panel.
Well DC helped push me in the right Direction. I was informed that they have quit production on the 07 Tangerine PT'S. So I started hunting for a Base Tangerine to convert it into a panel. I wanted a 150 HP automatic with cruz due to 3.50 gal for the super for the GT , so it took a week to get it in but it is here.

Ya, it would be hard to do that kind of mod to a dreamer. It wouldn't be the same. I think you made a good choice.

This looks to be a very cool project in the works, I think you did the right thing in not using a DC2 for this!
Plus I understand that Chrysler didn't make many '06-'07 in the Tangerine color.
I saw a completed panel at our Daytona Turkey run show a few years back, it was VERY COOL!!

DC brought the Tangerine back as a 07 Color, (I don't know if they pulled the color due to the Lawyers fearing a Class Action or due to lack of sales.) But as soon as I found out that DC pulled the plug on the Tangerine production I started hunting for one.

Not much to report yet. Saving up for the panel bodywork. I have the Roll Pan, and the First OE Ground Effects, ready to be put on. the 03 front pieces will fit the 07 front bumper.

I have removed the hubcaps and put on beauty rings. got the 01 Vanity Cover and painted the intake runners Tangerine so far .

Re: [Dream3] My Two Tangerine PT'S Can't Post

While driving thru a neighborhood near our house, we spotted a 2007 Touring Ed. in tangerine color. It's the only other one (well, almost Wink) I've seen in our town and it's a 10 minute walk from our place. Small world sometimes....

PT Dave is a great inspiration!! Dance
The Autotecnica chrome grill he recommended looks great on "Tiger" (our DCS2).
Thanks for the tip, Dave! Smile

If things go according to plan this Thursday, Tiger will have another DCS2 to snuggle up to on the driveway.
Another pair of tangerines! LOL!!

Cheers

Thanks, Dave! Wave

Your '07 tangerine Panel is gonna look verrrrrrrrry sweet!! Bow

I *do* feel very lucky having so much fun with some great Cruisers, but it wouldn't have happened without my dear wife, who's the *REAL* PT fanatic in our household. She really like's old fashioned stuff.... which is probably why I'm still welcome at home. Wink
