My new 2005 PT GT Convertible

Well tomorrow is my birthday so......
I ordered my PT GT Convertible today!!!!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!
I ordered the GT version with a six CD changer and the 17" chrome wheels. I will be Graphite with a taupe top and pearl beige interior.
Now the wait begins again just like last time.
My 2001 was ordered on March 1, 2000 and arrived on July 17th, sure hope this one gets here quicker.

 Copngrats on your order for your convertible. Think that it is kinda pricey but is a nice car. And I would have also chosen the graphite as that is a cool color. See the chrome wheels are a 700.00 option but they are really nice wheels. Think Ill wait till a raging snowstorm next winter and get one when they are discounting them as you know that will eventually happen. Hope you enjoy it whenever it arrives. At least you know the drill that surrounds an ordered car LOL Have a great day!

Can't wait to see pics of your new convertible. Sounds awesome! Did they give you any guess on time frame for delivery? Hope you have it in plenty of time to enjoy summer cruisin'. :)

 Capt, Well now you can bring it to the Oregon Coast Cruise this year Use that as a positive as to when you'll get it  In the meantime"Keep On Cruisin'" Mikie in Milwaukie

I ordered mine today. Got the Touring Edition with turbo, chrome wheels, cloth seats -- almond with black top. Dealer said 8 weeks but I told him not to hold his breath. I'm thinking more like June or July if it's anything like the 2001's. Ordered my inferno red on Mar. 13, 2000 and took delivery Sept. 13, 2000. SIX months!!!
I have my tracking info handy from 2000 so as soon as I get the VON on Mon. I will start tracking. LOL!!! Here we go again.

I ordered mine on Jan. 8th. The 2001 I have I ordered on March 3, 2000 and took delevery on June 17th. I sure hope this one is faster not slower.

I ordered my convertible 3 weeks ago but came to cinti ohio and found 2 dealers have them in stock they have had them 2 weeks and even at a car show and no takers 1 red 2 blue and 1 silver drove one it is awsome all are gt all with 6 disc heated seats and chrome 17 wheels

Not suprised there are no takers........this vehicle is really priced waaay too high I think. So far no dealer here in the Washington DC area has gotten a convertible. From what Ive gleaned looking at invoices from dealers around the country every one of the first batch will be 26 K or higher. Wonder if the current 2500.00 rebate applies to the convertible? If it doesnt I bet money that it will b4 the summer is over. Im going to wait till the supply is greater b4 I even consider this car, plus that will give the factory time to iron out any bugs they might encounter. Have a great day!

All gts are 29000 to 30000 I think your right i waited 9 mths for my 2001t paid 20000 sold for 13000 not bad but the conv wii cost a lot more
