Need Help with an Idea

Hi, this afternoon I was fooling around on the technical site where I have no business of being on but anyway I came up with this idea. I need feedback. You know I am involved with the Save the PTC. In my state we wear red on Fridays to show support for our troops and again on Saturday for Nebraska football. The whole state is red those two days. My idea is to have a Save the PT Cruiser T-shirt, that we all wear on a certain day. Now, how do we do it, if you like the idea? Will the store here help us? I will write to Mike and ask him but need to know if it is a good idea or not first. Would you be willing to wear a T-shirt on a certain day? Or just wear a T-shirt with that logo, no day specified? Thanks, appreciate the feedback, Mickey ---------- 2005 ELECTRIC BLUE CLASSIC Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections

Hi Mickey, That is a very good idea. Maybe there should not be a specific day, but everyone could wear the T-Shirts for cruises, meet & greets, car shows, etc.

Thxs Leo, a certain day would be difficult as people work. but the t-shirt idea is good, I think. I will wait and see what others think, for all I know there is already a shirt in the works. On http://www.cafepress.com you can set up your own shop with items printed with what you like. Work up a design and see how it will look on the different things. ----------

This is one of those "Just Do It" things! Then we get a shirt for every day. If it was red, white or blue I would wear it under my uniform ---------- DC1 #1610--5-speed. Its got some stuff. '03 Inferno Red--Its getting some stuff too!

Thanks for the positive responses. I have posted this idea on 3 forums and hopefully it will be received as positive. I posted my idea on a forum where the designer of shirts and the administrator of the site may help me with the idea. I am not a designer, but I would wear the shirt for sure. This is such an important issue. I do not want to advertise the site but you all know of whom I speak or some do. Please go to him with feedback. I hope I do not get in trouble for doing this as this is my favorite forum. I do not want to hurt Mike's feelings. If we promise not to get into that "which blue is better" thread, we could do red, white, and blue PTC's on the shirt. I can't wear t-shirts to work, so it would have to worn on weekends or after work, but it would draw attention to the "Save the PT" movement. HEY MIKE, Well I got my feelings hurt when I did take my idea to the other site, shot right down- no help there. I must get a hold of Scott and tell him so where is PT Dave when I need him. He has the in with Scott ! I was told that it is Scott's Save the PT, very curtly by the way. So I guess we have to go to the PT Enthusiasts forum. Is anyone a member? Or I am about ready to just go have one made myself and everyone else can do the same. I will get a bunch made and force my non PT friends to wear them. Get some for the Chrysler dealers too. Maybe go sell them and send the money to Chrysler if they are so desperate. I do not know if I am having a good day or bad! Why you don't come up with a design and sell them.It could be a grass roots effort and will show our solidarity all wearing the same tee shirt.Sometimes things like this have to be devoid of Club sponsorship or affiliation for the world of politics can be a very cumbersome thing........Take care.....Mike ---------- Mike Casabianca His: 2001 Black LE with Auto Transmission, BullDog Signs Flames, WeatherTec wind deflectors, cargo area mat, PT trash can, PT valve stem caps and Dart's coldair intake, chrome tail and headlight bezels, chrome bumper inserts, chrome license plate pillow, chrome fender trim, 1940's retro chrome on front and back fenders, door spears, chrome hatch door trim, chrome gas door, brushed chrome door sills, billet door pins, custom "BlueHaze" dash mat, MRK Group lugnut covers, dome light trim, etc. and the chrome goes on......
