Need help on finding whitewall tires... Can't Post

We want to change our stock 16" wheels ('04 PT LE) to 15" wheels and go with tires that have a "medium size whitewall" (1/2"-3/4"). I'm not having any luck finding tires with the regular modern whitewall that will fit. We don't want the big whites, just the regular as stated above. The Michelin Symmetry is about the only tire I've seen, but it only comes in 205/70-15, and may throw the speedo off. Can I change the speedo gear? Any other tire choices out there?

I was going to suggest Coker, but I just went to their web site and it doesn't seem like there is anything except the wide white walls for the PT. The only other thing I can think of is calling Discount Tires, they always seem to be very helpful when I need info on tires. Plus, if you can find the tires cheaper anywhere else, even the Internet, they'll match it (plus shipping, of course).

2005 Bright Silver Convertible, 5 speed with 8 ball knob, chrome door spears, chrome gas cap door, chrome antenna bezel, chrome grill kit, chrome rear bumper pillows, chrome bumper trim, stainless antenna with flames, stainless door panel trim, chrome smoothies with baby moons, 2" wide "gangster" white walls, chrome tail light trim, K&N air filter element in a modified airbox and an oogah horn. Hmmm, what have I forgotten???

Yeah, I've checked Coker and Diamondback sites but didn't find anything. I'm going to a few tire stores locally today and see what I can find out. Thanks for the tips!

Thanks AUCRZER, the Vogue tire is a 70 series which makes it little too tall (seems to be more choices in that size). Our "plan B" is to go with a white letter tire, and we've found a few in a 215/60-15 size (Goodrich Traction T/A). Just noticed the wheels/tires on your cool PT, what white letter tires are you using?

Oops, I meant Radial T/A's. Got too many tires on the brain...

Is your speedometer off much with the 205/70s?
