New Dream Cruiser 3 Production Totals

Does anyone know where the 1309 total production number for the DC3 came from. I was sent an email from DC customer service and they are saying 1188 total with 172 manuals and 1016 autos. This was told to me by the Mothership! In fact it was William the same person that gave us the DC2 info! ---------- Rich 04 Dream Cruiser 3 #1127 5 speed

Rich, I think the right answer is to go ahead and trust the Mothership As was discussed in the DC2 thread (http://www.ptcruiserclub.org/gforum.cgi?p ost=196055;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread) it's safe to assume that since the dash plaque numbers are not tied to a specific VIN during assembly, that they are applied randomly. If the full advertised production of annual Dream Cruisers does not get built (a common occurance) that in itself helps to explain why someone could have a sequence number higher than the number produced in any given series. Brian ---------- 5-speed Dream Cruiser S2 #1582 with MP S1 & BOV, Plastic Intake Manifold, rear Eibachs, Supertrapp axle-back exhaust, Crane FireWires & K&N drop-in. Plastic Chrome AMX TTAB AGP UCP and H&R Coilovers coming soon.

I agree I just think it is funny that in thier own press release Chrysler claimed that they alotted from VIN 0001-7500 for the Dream Cruisers, I believe this was for the 03 Tangerine Cars. Then you hear about DC 2c with VINs higher than 7500 and non Dreams with VINs lower go fiqure! They dont even believe thier own press releases LOL! ---------- Rich 04 Dream Cruiser 3 #1127 5 speed

Yeah, it IS pretty funny. What I really believe (and maybe what they truly wanted to say) is that they alotted dash plaques numbered 0001-7500 for the DC's Brian ---------- 5-speed Dream Cruiser S2 #1582 with MP S1 & BOV, Plastic Intake Manifold, rear Eibachs, Supertrapp axle-back exhaust, Crane FireWires & K&N drop-in.
